Why did s2 largely pussy out on the gore to the girl characters? Like we saw so many headshots of random mooks and their heads exploded into chunks and brain matter but nothing here. I was expecting some hot girl gore. Not this mild shit

Season twos are always more safe and marketable. They shave off the edge to widen the net. Other great examples are Panty and Stocking which became like an HBO comedy parody of itself with none of the biting satire that made the original great and Haganai which went to second season and just said no to the cast taking their shirts off.

Unless you get a show that is all about fanservice. Your Highschool DxDs, your Seiko no Qwazers, your original serie Ranma 1/2. Still mad about the remake too. Didn't even watch it. Taking Ranma-chan's nips away is like serving a sundae without a cherry.
