When R1 ended Musashi was randomly billed as the underdog, obviously nobody believes that but it's the angle the manga went with.

Last chapter it was trying to convince us Musashi was in trouble from the start despite Fuma conveniently not touching him.

Now one chapter later: even on her poison she's held off by a chained up Musashi with only one free hand, her weapon is destroyed, her gate that he was shitting himself over last chapter is useless, she's the only one taking hits also meaning her poison induced bleed out timer is ticking before she's done any damage, and is already being mocked into her last resort?

Who was supposed to be the underdog again? Suddenly she's not even allowed to look good next to him without needing TWO trump card super drugs to land even one hit?

It's so asinine that even the JP comments have begun in on: "Musashi (protagonist) wins lol" "Musashi seems to overcome every challenge he faces, leveraging his position as the protagonist of the story." etc.

Did he realise nobody was buying underdog Musashi? because it's suddenly reading dangerously close to being another shit tier Ogasawara spite match.

Anyone else feel like the art was lacking this chapter? Action felt stiff while really underselling Fuma’s power and the paneling was a lot less dynamic than usual.

The art got a bit rougher after the artist started also working on Versus but it's only gotten better since then. The fight just started and i thought it looked as great as ever, it's probably going to get more dynamic though
