He's themed around the number 8 in opposition to Jodio's number 9, Eclipse Eight's mask is clearly meant to resemble November Rain's mask, and his mist power mirrors NR's rain. Great episode as usual! Having all the flashback together in one chunk helps the story flow smoother, even if some minor scenes were removed. Gregorio looks and sounds great, same for young Gyro. They didn't specifically explain that Marco was imprisoned because he worked for a baron who wanted to kill the king, just that he was an innocent shoe shiner. Kind of odd to just never mention it, if it doesn't get mentioned next episode then it won't be brought up again, which is strange to just leave those who haven't read the manga without that information. Also, they removed that crazy Lindsay Clancy ass bitch who killed her whole family and bit off the guards' fingers, but she doesn't really matter so it's alright. I'm assuming next episode we'll get to see the stuff with Joseph of Arimathea's map since it should've been in this one. Stroheim's VA was amazing for how briefly he appeared, he looked really good too, made me coom.
