D, Roman, and Talia seem to move beyond doing this to each other without some big dramatic confrontation. Roman doesn't get mad at D and Talia for trying to use him because he just wanted to be with them and they end up not caring about his childish pursuits and try to keep him from suffering for their deeds too.

I was hoping the season would get into that aspect more, that the camera has captured the disparate piece of a story that no one hero would've understood, but if that's something they were going for, they made it very subtle.
