Is it just me or did this season just... Considerably worse than S1, which actually felt faithful to the universe. Here the setting is just a backdrop for over the top "hacking" that borders on just being straight up magic with no rules or limitations. The romance stuff also felt a lot more on the nose, and I really don't understand why the Japanese are so obsessed with making children the protagonists in these "gritty" shows. It would make a lot more sense if all the parties involved were young adults at least. I just can't take Roman or Talia seriously. David was still pushing it as a 17 year old, but it was still alot better than this. Kang Tao was too retarded for the sake of moving the plot forward, but the show wants us to view them as a big threat. I also just didn't feel like any of the characters were that memorable versus the original crew in S1. If they do a S3, I hope they can do better. 6/10. Would have been a lot better if they removed the kiddie bullshit and focused on characters like King.
