>finally watched the liveMeishan's solo was fine. It was actually way better than I expected with all the doom-and-gloom commentary I was reading on Twatter. And she actually kept her face composed very well until they got into Alter Ego and Kanon seemed to give her some words of encouragement. The hug from behind afterwards was nice, too. Honestly, what a trooper. Really impressive for a newbie bassist at the start of all this. I hope they keep on offering her opportunities like this. If I had one complaint, it's that the amount of distortion on that bass when she's playing on the B string is a bit much for a clear sound on a solo.

NyaMutsu is in a state of one-sided limbo until we can better define what the fuck the current "Mutsumi" is. UiSaki is explicitly romantic from Uika's side. Sakiko does not explicitly return the romantic feelings but is fully aware of the ones directed to her and accepts them. She will stand by Uika's side through thick and thin, though there may not be kisses. At least one-sided romance. The loyalty and devotion is firmly reciprocal. I honestly think this is as much as we'll get. TakiTomo is firmly one-sided romance. Tomori is more drawn to those who will lead her out of her enclosed world and take her to wondrous new life experiences. Sakiko and (to a lesser extent) Anon fit that role. I wonder if Uika could also do it in season 3. UmiTaki is my bias but it's not clear if Umiri even fully grasps the idea of personal romance.
