I think another issue with DQ was the lack of a strong Alien castSure, TAD and whatever but DQ would have done well to have a cast of Alien's trying to integrate into a Society that on the surface welcomes them but deep down resents them for the special privileges it's Government gives them. I would have loved to see how an Alien reacts to their Alien friends and family going missing and how disinterested or unwilling the Government is in solving those missing persons cases despite being the one's to promote Special Treatment towards AliensWhat happened to Lally and the School trying to erase his existence off the map because his suicide looked bad on them was fascinating. Soyo made up a blatant lie but her classmates went along with it because Society didn't just accept Aliens overnight The author created an interesting World but rarely gives us deeper looks into it and Lally was the deepest we ever got. Every other Alien is just a joke character that's gonna get killed in a couple of panels
