When she's got her memory back and/or wants to be with Okarun, he's going to be some sort of sore or depressed, and that's when their brotherhood can be reforged. Right now though he and Evil Eye are kinda too entangled. Both of them can't click too far with other characters because they're mostly dealing with each other. Punk Baldy was the closest to shaking that up. Personally I hope he or Aira end up being Vamola's powerful husband.
I really want to see Okarun actually confront his past. He's had tons of growth through the manga, but making friends and having good times doesn't suddenly make up for all the years of bullying and loneliness.

Genuinely so hyped Granny is back. What an unexpected character to snap Okarun out of it. Hopefully she stays for good instead of trying to stay tough. I want Amnesia Era to be over asap for the most part but I would love to see NuMomo's dynamic with her. Anyway yeah romantic drama is a common shit-stirrer, trouble in paradise and all that. If there wasn't amnesia there'd probably be actual focus on another man in this comic, and if not that then Momo and Okarun would probably have an argument that isn't resolved day of. Currently though there's no actual cuckoldry involved, Okarun's always looked out for Momo's well-being, he's a gentleman character, one of the first times he lets out granny rage is on a student who was badmouthing her. Did he ever find out that was Aira's fault? I'm not sure if he'd mind at this point, especially since the two are always saying horrible things to each other while still being friends.
