Chapter 2
I'll be honest, it's very hard to tell what's going on a lot of the time
>>292042909Art is pretty "unique" yeah
MONKE
FIN This boomer can't catch a break
>>292043617Thanks, but he looks like a millennial
Interesting to see how they are going to develop this.
bump
>>292043617I'm curious to see where the plot goes, it is being set up well so far.
I really liked the 1st chapter. This one not so much. It's weird, it kinda feels like it's.. overcooked? Like, its 40 pages of meticulously drawn spacesuits and environments, but the action is not well communicated and kind of irrelevant. They struggled with 1 monkey, put it in a locker then run away from more. That's all that happened over 40 pages. And the flow of the action is not very clear either.I dont think that guy needed to draw so many hard pages for these events.
>>292045496overly-detailed, sketchy or unique art does not work well with action and paneling, look at what's happened to JoJo
>>292045496He's trying to be atmospheric and suspenseful but not conveying the environment or passage of time well enough I think. The exploration parts and the running from funny monkeys parts are paced and drawn the same so it all kinda blends together.
might as well just call it monkering
how did they manage to make a Dead Space like manga boring as fuck?
>>292043457>>292043474I hate when horror stories rely on the characters being retards for the plot to work.
>>292045887yeah then you see monkeys in the elevator and theres no telling if its a still picture or a chase scene
Man, reading this manga is really hard on your eyes, you can tell the author is an amateur. The paneling and the flow across the panels is really poor, shit's constantly drawn over the panels and the 180 rule is broken all the time, making it hard to tell what's going and requiring multiple passes across the page to discern basic actions and events. Then, also, it feels like this was translated by an ESL. Everything is just so awkwardly phrased, genuinely hard to read, only adding to the visual frustration. As for the chapter itself, was there any need to spend nearly 90 pages on chapter one just to have this short escape take another 40 pages in chapter two? Surely, these should have been combined, all the pointless fluff and filler trimmed from the first chapter, ending on this cliffhanger. The author is clearly a very prolific artist to draw so much shit for so little value but the editor should have stepped in. There's a decent ~60 page debut chapter buried in here. I just hope as it settles for a lower page count, it will start treating them more economically and the pace will pick up.
>>292046837I agree on all counts
>>292046921>>292046837actually hold on, i didn't see the part where you asked for trimming the 1st chapter. I disagree on that, the 1st chapter was actually full of the author's strong points (imo): characterization . Its this chapter that should have been trimmed and the action summarized

>>292043617Thank you for posting, OP.
>>292042904What's the deal about monkeys all of a sudden? First Monkey Hunting, now this.
>>292052579Because each time we force you apes down the evolutionary tree, an angel gets its' black wings.
>>292043601She had only ONE job
This is already brutally mogged on J+.Unless the author gets his shit together, it's an axe.
>>292042821what is this?
>>292055610a manga
>>292042821This one reminds me a lot of The Thing by John Carpenter. I'll pick it up.
