Is it just a direct LN adaptation of Stampede and Stargaze? If so, I'm not interested. Stampede was enjoyable despite its shortcomings, but Stargaze was a tremendous letdown. I might be willing to give it a chance if it makes some changes, such as acknowledging that Lina and Chronica exist rather than hoping everyone forgot about them.

Didn't they make massive changes to what Stargaze was originally going to be for some reason? Like the original director and writers were entirely replaced. I remember they said at first how they had material for like 5 seasons or something.

I'll be Story Time Trigun volume two tomorrow but I am going to be a bit busy partly through it in order to make some food with somebody I am not joking I actually have an obligation to make food with another person tomorrow.

I read that it wasn't going to draw quite so heavily on Maximum as it ended up doing, although it would still take some inspiration (such as Elendira ageing up and using a weapon similar to what she had in the manga).

I loved the manga, really liked the 90s anime and Badlands Rumble, and enjoyed Stampede. Stargaze really disappointed me, so if this is the exact same story in LN form, I don't want it.
