He blamed himself for being too weak to call it off after everything that had already gone into the project, and the risk of losing a deal for a two cour anime. Separately he's also addressed the rumors that he had been holding back a potential anime adaptation for various reasons in the past and debunked that, and he has clarified that the one of the points of the anime production he did actually like was the scriptwriter for the show who was one of the few that really tried despite everything.For the Aninari stuff, you can find the leaked production stuff on twitter from nazoani04rookie, there's not a lot on there so it's easy enough to find. Like I don't know who this is supposed to be but it does resemble Mizukami's style. There's also some things that are pretty obviously Samidare.
