This fight (counting Vanica + Megicula as one) is the one I'm the most hyped about (literally my favorite of Black Clover), and for the first part I can say I'm extremely happy with the result. I wasn't expecting something on the level of Magna's fight because replicating the level of that one is something they're likely reserving for the final fight of the season, but I'm glad it was Nacht vs twin devils level at least. Noelle's new form looked amazing, both from the activation and performance, she looked extremely cool, I really like how she uses a sword in her Sacred Valkyrie form, it's just so stylish. It's really Noelle's coolest form, the halo, wings and everything reminded me of the Quincy from Bleach in a good sense. I also think the performance of her VA was great as well, it's nice hearing Noelle sounding so series and deep compared with her usual tsundere voice, and I am so happy for that, Kana Yuki deserves more love and be casted in more shows.The fight with Vanica was better than expected, since it's the only part of the fight where Noelle goes solo I imagined they would make it good, but I'm really surprised about how fluid the fight looked. Truth to be told I'm not a big fan of Vanica, but she looked very hot in her 100% form and the ending where she thought Noelle was considering her a rival was hilarious.Megicula's reveal was cool and her new voice is pure sexo, a bit deeper of what I imagined, but I liked the whole "child-like being with a deep voice" being they went for. I'm just glad they didn't go with Magna's VA like in the first season and changed her voice for her to sound female as she should.

>>292121164Only two nitpicks; first is that the ending of the fight when Noelle beats Vanica was depicted as energy beams Dragon Ball style; I think in the manga looked cooler because you could see how Noelle was peeling away Vanica's demon form with her sword, in the anime it looked a bit more generic. And the second, and something making me fear for the next fight, is the usage of CGI during Rill's Valhalla technique. I don't mind it in this episode because it was for a short scene, but most of the next episode will involve Rill using a lot of his paintings in the fight and Megicula summoning enemies and I hope they don't go overboard with the CGI, especially since the few CGI we saw in this episode didn't look exactly good.Either way, it's my favorite episode of the season. Objectively the best one if the Magna one, but subjectively and as someone who dearly loves Noelle, I pick this. Let's hope next one ends up being even better.
