Interest is still relatively strong but it's declining because you can only milk SoL that much if you have a strong cast and a good writer and SxF has neither.It tries to do too many things at once and none of those are done well, the action-y parts are too sporadic and they're average at best, the comedy is the same two or three jokes repeated at nauseam and the SoL part doesn't really go anywhere after years, the manga's stuck in a rut where the main trio goes through a groundhog day of gags and some minor, actually interesting narrative setpieces that people like and want to see more of like Lloyd's past as a child soldier or Yuri's life as a gestapo cop but all that shit is sidelined immediately and the setting still feels barebones years later.Anya's yotsuba style sections are still okay but they're crippled by the lack of good supporting characters and most of the time they're this awkward series of gags that don't really give off the iyashikei vibe that things like Yotsuba have because Axeman has trouble writing anything that feels true to life so it's just a bunch of cute caricatures going through tired clichès you can read in most other manga, which is made worse by the fact that again, nothing really happens and it's just the same jokes over and over.And then outside of the main trio you have nothing, the only characters that actually stuck with people are Fiona because she's a huge cuckquean, Becky because she's horny and Yuri because he's also a deranged cuck siscon, nobody gives a shit about Damian outside of a tiny subsection of shotacon and shippers, his family plotline was a nothingburger, the other secret agents like Franky are charisma black holes and nobody cares about the rest of the peanut gallery like Ior's stacy coworkers or the assassin boss because they're just that, a peanut gallery.
