Holy crap the Sastrugi are lame. How lame? I can't even post the new pic of them because I KNOW the jannies will deem it furry.
>>9005047Post a catbox link.
>>9005059https://snekguy.com/2025/06/30/sastrugi-concept-art/
>>9005070Oh, those ugly fucks.Yeah you'd be able to post them as they're scalie and that's not 'furry' to most jannies.
>>9005073>scaliebut they're leopard seals
>>9005070Eh.Honestly if he just gave them pitch eyes they'd work better
>>9005080Give their females wider hips than shoulders and they'd work better.
>>9005024bro your paragraph separations?
>>9005024After narrowing avoiding death from choking on my drink, I came the realization how foreign and alien coughing and sneezing would be to any aliens we come across. What are some weird involuntary bodily functions you think some ayys might have? Bonus points if they're not related to arousal or some kind of gross secretion.
>>9005108Most land creatures cough and sneeze. Even aquatic creatures have versions of such behaviors. They're basic safety abilities.
>>9005108aliens might find whistling interesting
>>9005070Space leopard seals.
>>9005108From an evolutionary standpoint, anything that breathes air is going to need the capacity to clear its airway of obstructions and foreign matter.
Any good or atleast decent sangheili girl x human dude stories?
>>9005185Check out my story, does include Jackal but still has Elite.https://archiveofourown.org/works/62347525/chapters/170860429Update coming SOON™
>>9005207Sorry, I don't like breasts, especially large ones, on my halo girls.
>>9005210Fair doose.
>>9005207Thanks
>>9005207To each to their own tastes, but I'm not a fan of adding humanizing features to species especially established as not having them.Heck I read Birds of Prey recently and didn't like how their leg/hindquarters musculature got translated to Thicc once the bedroom got involved.Still, nice to see you're still writing your thing even if a bunch of us dogpiled you awhile back over exactly that.
>>9005234When I manage to get my own universe rolling I expect I'll get dogpiled for that too.I like tiddy on my critters but I also am not averse to more anthro-style ayys alongside the more Elite/Viper scalie ones.
>>9005108Since it's now Spooktober and seeing your pic what spooky games would (you) play with your boob cushion? For me it'd be both Condemned games, Manhunt 2, F.E.A.R and The Darkness in no particular order.
I wish vuisul had more content, i really liked her
>>9005037Unironic best case scenario for all involved.
I made an alien today and I am very proud of it.
>>9005039
>>9005415dead spaceI don't really play spoopy games
>>9005108>>9005174Maybe their airway and esophagus are completely separate systems, so they have 2 different coughs. One for things like inhaling pollen and one for when you eat too big a bite. One cough comes from the lungs and larynx and one cough comes from the stomach and gasses produced within.
>be reading the genestealer x femgangers story by this dolf >drawn out but good>ending comes around>suddenly goes from bad end to all the girls escaping and killing the genestealers>they then ride off into the sunset >literally>they even hold hands and mc thinks "We’re still ourselves" in what is clearly meant to be an emotional nomentHoly fuck, I am malding. I didn't think this needed to be said, but shit. Dolf. Lewdpencil. And whoever fucking else is still in these threads and creating or thinking about it:You are making coomslop. You are not making an emotional epic. Writing or drawing, you are doing the adult equivalent of picking up He Man and Master Chief and mashing them together in a big fight. You're not even really using whatever setting or characters you supposedly are, you're just waving some coombrained parodies around. It makes no sense, it never will. And thats okay. Its just cooming. But don't switch fucking gears halfway through. No, it doesnt work. Anyone who tells you it does is simping for you so you wont stop making content. Its just bizarre. Its like in a bad hentai and after 90 minutes of rape, the main heroine escapes and goes on a fucking monologue about the importance of friendship and not letting the past weigh you down, with a freaking rainbow in the background.Fucking retarded. Yes I mad.Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk
>>9006019What they don't realise is
they only killed a huge chunk of the intelligence, just enough to think they're still normal.

When the next invasion fleet comes along they'll be swept up and start turning people.
Or something like that, would be better.
>>9006089thanks, I hate itI feel as though this was more an excuse to indulge the artist's cellulite fetish than anything else
>>9006156I like the general idea, thicc and such, but yeah bit too much definition on that arse.
>>9006089all aliens should be shortstacks T B H
Man I'm starting to really hate lacking interest and probably ability in writing/drawing/animating and being dependent on others for content... especially with niche stuff like /xeno/ which doesn't exactly have high demand/production.Dunno if this is a natural response to poor standards or lack of satisfaction, or I'm having a mid-life crisis.
>>9006320Then move onto other things or do something about it. Those are our options. Draw, write, share links to things you searched hours for. Doing otherwise won't help you or anyone else here, only amplify it since misery loves company. If you want something to occupy you for a bit, check out the list of links that got posted towards the end of the last thread. Maybe you'll like some of it or get inspired.
I'll take a couple requests for anything anyone wants to be written. if you want.

>>9005627I have finished drawing my alien. It was just supposed to be a haha funny doodle but then it started to look good so I just went with it.Now they need a name. Is there some kind of convention for names, or am I just mashing syllables together here?
>>9006762Do they hop around like a pixar lamp?
>>9006766Nah, they slither/climb/drag themselves around. They're stretched out for documentation purposes, so functionally they're only like 4 feet tall.
>>9006762How does the female carry offspring with such little bodymass? As for naming, they look like they have beaks, so names would probably involve chirps and clicks.
>>9006320In the same boat as you, senpai, it's probably a bit of both
>>9006762Honestly, I like the design. As for the name I'd personally would keep it simple and easy to remember. Also avoid giving them a name that sounds like someone from earth would describe them like "crawlers" or "thin folk".

All done with this one! Hope you enjoy!

>>9006394I got inspired by this fellow writer and decided to do the same. I'm feeling a little experimental and wanted to expand my horizons. If you have any writing requests, I'm open as well. I'll be writing short stories, somewhere in the ballpark of 4000-6000 words.

>>9008176What?
>>9008103Funny enough those two are very closely representing the two forms I mentioned: The one I had beforehand with the aesthetics I liked and the one I'd have to have if I wanted realism.
>>9006585Oh shit fr! It's also something I'm working on. I'd love to see how someone else works with the concept.
>>9008295Eldritch celestial overmind gf would be pretty neat concept. Not sure exactly what tone to go for but there's lots of ways for it to play out. Whether it starts with the main character trying to repel evil villain woman in his head, or evil woman in his head trying to focus on her goal and not the stupid mortal monkey's abs."They didn't care how much of your life you sacrificed to be here. They only care now that you've got that little idol in your hands. They just want to take from YOU. To take YOU from ME." A more serious tone would be interesting, and something more satirical would be funny. Stopping the plot of a cosmic deity by putting a ring on their finger. "4th dimensional girls have curves I can get lost in for days... Please help. It's been days and every path I take leads back to her vagina."

>>9008021Here's a little idea to build on:>two captains meet on a barren neutral planet>natural disaster strikes and they have to work together>"diplomatic relations" ensue
>>9008021Had a concept ages ago for a mechsuit bound race that subsequently suffers agoraphobic esque anxiety when outside of them and frequently get assigned an auxiliary to help calm them when running diplomatic or similar jobs that require working without a suit. They're just used to a constant low level of pressure/physical touch.not necessarily with the same design pictured, go nuts design wise! Its fun to see what people come up with. Mechsuit bound ayy might be one that is more invertebrate esque; no internal skeleton so they developed suits to make up for it? idk, do your thing.
>>9008525
>>9008525>>9008526I remember these guys; thought it was a cute concept
>>9008525>>9008526Now I wanna see more of this...
>>9008525>>9008526I don't have a race like this in terms of absolutely needing support but I do have a race of aquatic ayys similar to that one Meandraco concept of the sea critters being washed on the beach where they use giant mechs to do things because they're literally finned buggers that otherwise have to use their tails or teeny face tendrils to do things with.
>>9006762I'm doing another one. Dangerously furry, but fuck it.
Tried drawing Nithry from The Howler attempting to retain some dignity while drinking wild nectar. Kind of ended up with an orchid mantis. Coloring things is hard.
>>9008525>Mechsuit bound ayy might be one that is more invertebrate>>9008940>Now I wanna see more of this...there was a rework of this alien as a concept... someone post the version of this, the starfish-tentacle (female) looking one, that was giving "relief" to their assistant "emotional" support human (male)
>>9009038Colouring sucks, aye. You did good though.
>>9009038Love it.
>>9008967Looks kinda like a symmetrical version of the Mote in God's Eye aliens
>>9009038Total cutie!Fantastic work! The big segments of his index fingers with their extra joint shielding flaring is very nicely done and looks very natural! The slender but very soft, fluffy looking antennae are also very appealing. And customary horny human thoughts abut long bug tongue.I like coloring more than trying to get my lines right, but coloring can take a lot of time and effort. Your linework is really nice, clean and with a bunch of pleasant line-weight in all the right places. And also just the general construction, pose, anatomy and insect aspects are very impressive to me.
Here's Chapter 23 of The Howler!>https://archiveofourown.org/works/61103611/chapters/187670101Sorry for the wait, but I've got some free time again, so hopefully I'll be able to get a couple out fast. This one's a little weird since it's completely in Eigen's perspective and I've been trying to avoid that since I'm constantly worried of the screenplay gimmick overstaying its welcome, but it felt necessary for what's about to happen. >>9009038That is absolutely beautiful, anon! You've done such an awesome job on the fingers. They look amazing! I really like the delicate scene it paints and all the details on the joints and chitinous bits is just so...! It's hitting me in all the right places. It really captures the attitude of the Fyrix perfectly! I feel so lucky to receive fanart like this. And yeah, a lot of alien bugs do end up trending towards mantids, don't they...? They're just so damn appealing!
>>9009047>>9008940>>9008549That was me. I think this is the pic you're referring to. Did want to remake them with a more alien bodyplan but havent gone back to flesh that out anymore yet. Might do that since there's clearly enthusiasm for it!>>9009038That's really nice, great line weight work. The watercolory colors are nice to look at too!>>9009105I do get what you mean, I could see some not liking the schtick of the fantasy play style but I think its a refreshing and unique element. I do like that you also change up how you describe scenes. Its much more flowery and vivid, again like a fantasy/tolkein novel. Works well to reinforce the contrast the chapters of Eigen's perspective with all other chapters. Definitely fun to get the same scene from 2 different perspectives. Looking forward to seeing how freaked out Nithry is.I would guess the reason we lean towards mantid and hymenopteran designs are that their angular heads have the most similar shape/construction to a human face
>>9009049>>9009062Thanks! Got a lot of inspiration from the other artists here. It feels like there's still so much to learn when it comes to art, but you guys really made me happy that I'm doing it.>>9009105Perfect timing, thanks for the chapter. Looking forward to learning what is going through poor Nithry's head as a giant, smelly ape manhandles him.>>9009149>>9009088I'm glad people appreciate the line work, I've always found doing lines easier than painting for some reason. This is one of the few things I've done that wasn't just grayscale but I figured that he deserved to be in color. The construction took a bit to get right, kind of decided where the head and hands would be and had to figure out the rest of the pose from there. I wanted to put in some more insectoid features, like setae around his joints or some more complicated chitin, but just decided to keep it simple. Wish I could've gotten more abdomen in frame, but it didn't seem to fit.
You think human sympathizing single female sangheilis would throw themselves at master chief post war?
>>9009307Probably, if he wasn't with a GF already and also adrift somewhere in space.>"Well he's not anymore after being woken up outside Req-"No. He's still adrift in space.
>>9009149>I could see some not liking the schtick of the fantasy play style but I think its a refreshing and unique elementYeah, when I first drafted this story Eigen was just normal crazy. He was inspired heavily by Donald Crowhurst and the story would never enter his perspective, but then I decided that it's a story and why not have some fun with it? Let's just make him a man living his own literal fantasy! I like to think it still passes verisimilitude and it's much more interesting this way. I'd only ever written fantasy before this one, so funnily enough this is much more in my wheelhouseIt's especially difficult because his perspective isn't *exactly* a screenplay; it's a crazy person pretending he's in a screenplay, or at least that's the best way I found to present it. It still needs to contain some prose and it breaks a lot to imply the state of the mind behind it, so anyone who's read actual screenplays would recognize it as wrong, but it works. I think people reading it will tend to glaze over the person actually speaking and just read the text as well, but in a way that works, because it's all the same person anyway! There's a lot of playing around with the format to add some extra depth to the scenes, and hopefully people think that's as cool as I do, but it's definitely a lot more 'dense' than the other parts. I haven't heard any complaints yet, so that must count for something! Also, sorry I never got around to replying to you last time, but I'm fine with graphic sex being in works. It's that what I consider smut is something whose sole and express intention is to be masturbated to, and I do generally look down on that stuff. It serves a purpose, but it's difficult for me to take seriously. I think if you've done a good job writing characters the reader shouldn't want to watch them fuck too much anyway. If it does happen, it's less me standing in the corner masturbating and more me standing in the corner cheering them on, if that makes any sense!
>>9009315>No. He's still adrift in space.Based
>>9009315Yep.Humans are forerunner too.
>>9009307Yes, but he'd give them the "NO WAY FAG" treatment because of the lady in his head that calls him stud muffin
>>9009105>I'm constantly worried of the screenplay gimmick overstaying its welcome,I'm going to be honest dude, I've skipped every single screenplay section. Not sure how well it's received by others -- you'll likely get a positivity bias from comments as everyone else insta-dropped the story and moved on.
I had this kind of spec evo idea, but I'm not sure how it would work. What if there was a xeno species who couldn't masturbate? For whatever reason, they can't self stimulate and they need sex for sexual relief. I'm picturing a scenario where she's the only one of her species on the ships crew and you're the only compatible male available.I also had the idea of a female xeno for whom it was impossible to have multiple orgasms during sex, but that's more of a weird what if idea as opposed to something that can be extrapolated into something sexy
>>9008967Looks good.
>>9009638As soon as I hit post I had some ideas about the multiple orgasms thing:>having sex with xeno gf>doing really well>she cums so quickly>"Wow anon, that was great. Whew! I'm done, I'm sleepy now. Anyway, goodnight!">you just look confused, still hard>"What the hell am I supposed to do? Jerk off?">your gf, member of a species that is incapable of self pleasure, looks puzzled>"What the heck is a jerk off?"OR>having sex with xeno gf>sooooogood.jpg>prematurely bust>she still hasn't orgasmed and can't get there herself>she's disappointed>you feel terrible>you don't see her for a few days>assume she's getting dicked down by the Chad the Chadothian, the big xeno bro next door>turns out she's actually in the lab, working on chemical formulas and attempting to hack your genome in order to remove your refractory period
>>9005024>picI enjoy the mental image of newcomer humans being benignly bullied or patronized by aliens.
>>9009947Yeah man I love Mass Effect too.
>>9009708Does the species your xenon gf comes from engage in reproductive behavior for recreational purposes? This is one of those thoughts that keeps me awake at night.
>>9009638Probably wouldn't be physical because people get creative with obtaining sexual pleasure.Chemical in some way? Like both genders requires the extended presence of a chemical only produced by the other gender to orgasm. Arousal still happens to make the fucking happen but evolution made it so that reproduction must take place for climax to occur so that both males and females learn to not waste energy masturbating. Or at least not masturbating alone so at least you're building your relationship. Still kills masturbation culturally until no one knows to do it.>impossible to have multiple orgasms during sexI guess it would make sense if they're an all-or-nothing kind of species like the titan arum flower, which would probably mean the sex would be infrequent but intense.I can make stuff up to make it hot>ayy species is one of those that evolution semi-fucked over with excessively complicated biological requirements>breeding demands satisfying multiple small requirements like foreplay-sex until she reaches a mini-climax for each one>obligatory blowjob>one to get her blood flowing>one to warm up her uterus (or the equivalent)>toss in some anal to stimulate her ovaries from the back or something>and a few others>she won't feel truly ready until all her bits readied>sex is a marathon with few breaks>if you break the combo you must start over from the beginning>once you've successfully collected 5/5 mini-gasms she can climax properly>males must be able to prove themselves that they are mates with the excess strength and virility that he can waste sperm into a girl's mouth and ass and still have plenty left to breed>else the female's body doesn't even bother to pop out an egg>when she does orgasm it puts her into a sex coma for a day or two>her body can't use the incompatible sperm but it still prepares itself for motherhood
>>9010338Yo anon that is super hot>she realizes that, since there's no risk of pregnancy with a human and no risk of kids ruining her career, she can have sex ALL THE TIME and get that sweet orgasm that used to take a lot of work and have lasting consequences>starts asking to bang every Friday>out like a light all weekend>then she starts asking every Tuesday and Friday>eventually she starts begging to fuck every time she wakes up from her breeding coma>anon happily obliges>she gets fired from her job for missing so many days of work>her face when regular sex impacted her career more than kids ever would

anyone like to 3d model your ayy oc races? also helpful for using as reference for a drawing, especially with complicated body types. i spent way too long just making silly poses with a really basic, rudimentary block-out model instead of actually getting it finished lol
>>9010474Using physical refs is underrated, people might balk at it calling it "cheating" but a lot of the high-profile artists of ages past went to elaborate length to get props and setups made to get the look of stuff just right. (the Dinotopia guy is the living example I can recall atm)
I updated the belly picture! I changed the hand positions a little, to make it look more like the junior huntress attendants are oiling up and caressing the Elder's belly, instead of just holding it.

>>9011407kek i liked the body type going on with the strider, so i did start with that as a basis for the design.also you prob mean Sabi, "sylphie" was ages ago before i thought id go any further with her lol.admittedly i was thinking of doing a spiritual successor to sabi for this new thing, buuut its kinda just an anthro oriental shorthair cat. not really much of a xeno, so sticking this idea on the backburner for now https://files.catbox.moe/im5fx7.png

>>9011502My intrepretation of this duo would be that the miner is a hardheaded redneck, and the entity has glados/shodan vibes, and is unsuccessfully trying to manipulate the idiot. I have no idea how to develop the plot or their relationship though.
>>9011505Eldritch being keeps trying to temp him with knowledge and power but miner only cares about his next paycheck.Eldritch being laser focuses on the guy who just won't fall for any of her tricks which eventually turns into an obsession, which leads to attraction as eldritch beings live so long that spending a few centuries being distracted by a thing is more like taking a quick coffee brake for them. The miner just thinks she's a new hire the boss brought on since he said he was looking for more help and he doesn't keep track of all the aliens in the known galaxy so assumes she's just one of them and is clinging to him because she doesn't know what she's doing and all the "knowledge and power" crap she keeps spouting is just her trying to cover that up.

>>9010983You inspired me to make my own centaur alien thing! Really great stuff, thank you for the brain-fuel!Hope you all enjoy this dummy two-head alien girl getting aggressively struggle-snuggled by an outer space tentacle monster!
>>9011505I kind of got bladerunner/Isaac Clarke kind of vibes from him. Eldritch being as a Shodan/Glados type would be very fitting. Not sure how Miner gets ahold of or encounters the phenomena Eldritch being uses to invade his psyche. Comes across a crystal/totem/altar that looks out of place (Imagine being apart of a crew, the first one being sent to mars. And your team finds a skeleton made of bismuth holding a metal cube in the middle of a red desert)Miner could be Eldritch Entity's chance to escape a prison binding her to a separate plane away from sentient life. Keeps trying to bargain/nudge him to complete a ritual to bring her to Miner's plane of existence.
>>9011505That's tricky to see what would mesh the best. Maybe how the Eldritch Entity ends up haunting the miner/spacer is also the plot. Her alien (as in foreign to the reality humans call existence) origins end up limiting her influence over reality, and tries to get Miner to do her totally-evil-not-a-conjugal-visit-I-swear bidding to enter mortal reality. How they meet also becomes a goal/conflict, that leads to development of issues and bonding between Miner & the entity. Conflict could be directly physical; Miner has to navigate tunnels and non-euclidean geometry, trying to escape the ruins of an alien cult before the presence of an old one melts his brain.Or more of a mental conflict. Miner is a man that feels isolated in an industrial dystopia, working to send resources back to a planet he'll never be able to see. Miner starts to hear things around the digsite. Whispers about how it doesn't have to be this way. About how many grueling shifts he's worked is only going to line the pockets of people who hate him. And tries to maintain a facade of normalcy while trying to unearth whatever the only kind voice he's heard in years wants.

Something of a broad question but I tried /lit/ already and they were useless. What alien species in fiction, past or present, is the most deadly and terrorizing for humans to face, while still being capable of cooperation or amicable relations with other species?I'm inspired to write a story, but not enough to make something up.

>>9012858Was thinking something less gargantuan sized.>>9012806They've been too anthropomorphized past H1, and frankly been to slaughtered by too high a number to take seriously. Bad case of lore being sabotaged by presentation.
>>9012976Just to clarify, do you want them amicable with humans after mass killings and war? Or just capable of diplomacy with species other than humans? The aliens from Starship Troopers might count. The skinnies and bugs originally worked together to attack humanity, but the skinnies switch sides after being attacked by humanity. The Protoss could be another contender, though I've never played Starcraft.
>>9012346>deadly and terrorizing for humans to face, while still being capable of cooperation or amicable relations
>>9013035Okay, let me clarify... you know when there's something that achieves such a status that people look upon it and instantly react in terror? A normal person pisses themselves and flees screaming, a grizzled veteren goes right into battlefield mode and blanks out everything except the creature and what he needs to do to kill it, the aloof and stoic suit starts hysterically screaming for their security to kill it kill it NOW. and it's all earned, because it's lightning fast, it rends through bodies and sends limbs and blood flying, it shrugs off injuries and dismemberments and probably heals instantly, it can be cold and emotionless while wearing the mask of gleeful sadism and monstrous fury. It's the Terminator, it's Garou, it's the Balrog, it's Cyberdemons, Nazgûl, Deathclaws, Tarrasque, Tyrant/Mr. X, the Flood, it's the Doom Slayer in the eyes of demons... etcI'm looking for that vibe, but of alien origin. Ideally capable of non-murder interactions but I can write that part in.
>>9013073The Rachni could be reasoned with. They were a galactic boogeyman that survived several cycles, and caused several races to Uplift the Krogan to stand any chance against them. The Geth were also pretty unique, setting had to nerf them, but for how capable/quickly advancing they were lore wise they must have been terrifying to run into. Their origins and hivemind style must have made their logic seem alien. The covenant were actually quite darker than what we see in the games, sadistic infantry or glassed from orbit. The technological superiority was pretty insane, plasmapistols even were quite deadly. It's got be quite terrifying to be a rifleman and have a pissed off Mgalekgolo after you.

>>9013073Weirdly, the way you phrased this post reminded me of the aliens in the Host, by Stephanie Meyer. The book is basically a mash-up of Twilight and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and free humans would rather kill themselves than get caught, but eventually you learn that most of the alien races that were taken over by the centipedes basically just live normal people lives, despite their alien biology and inability to survive off their home planet.

>>9011505The Entity can't really register in waking minds, only in dreams or under the influence of certain drugs. The race that worshiped her died long agon and she's been in a chunk of space rock for a whileMiner Anon comes across one of her priests' pendants in a chunk of volcanic space rock, thinking its a neat little rock and it doesn't set off any of the company built scanners that would say it's dangerous and/or valuable. He adds it to the necklace of polished stones he wears as a sort of good luck charm (It does work, have to keep the human alive long enough to bring her into the waking world after all)The problem is Miner Anon is stubborn about earning a paycheck, so his sleep schedule is all fucked up so he doesn't enter REM sleep often. combined with Caffeine supplements to get him moving and sleep meds to conk out after a long shift, She can't gain much a hold in his dreamsAnon does however frequent the bar for booze on his off days, and now there's this strangely attractive alien chick who's super into him and says all sorts of funny stuff, like taking a shuttle to that nav hazard of a planet and "commune" with her in the ancient temple. Sadly, he's too drunk to really register it and the mind enthrallment doesn't stickTo make matters worse for the Entity, Anon's buddies see him talking to someone who isn't there, and think Anon's going off the deep end. The often cuck the Entity and her time with anon with different mental health exercises and occasionally the anti-psychotics they slip him.So yeah, She's trying to figure out how his human brain works while it's constantly in an abnormal state and subject to outside influences beyond her in order to bend him to her will
>>9013969Interesting premise, I look forward to seeing how it develops.I imagine she would consider enthralling him to her will child's play, but the conditions you described make it a giant pain in the ass for her, forcing her to resort to more subtle approaches.

>>9014261This story is so odd, yet interesting. It's like it has all the story elements from more popular fics and premises from around here, but runs with them in different directions. Like a deconstruction. Made me interested enough to read it in one go and I found myself liking it quite a bit. It's still a really odd story, but I find Dale and Orith pretty compelling. They're very much the same in a lot of ways, but from different ends of the convergence's assimilation. It all feels like a cracked mirror version of a xcom viper fic, too. >ywn be an underhiver now training a close quarters dojo with a bunch of causIt's not fair.
>>9020945>are they subs, or are they doms?depends on the individual. some velts might enjoy lording their height over a human partner, while others are surprised to find they want to be man-handled by a smaller partner. >what are the logistics like due to the height difference? This is something i also think about a lot. As a human, you're going to have to do some climbing to get properly busy with a velt. finding the right handholds is crucial, and a strong core is necessary. being on top is the most advantageous position, but velts are active creatures, so expect many position switches. She's going to want to throw you around a bit, and she expects you to throw her around in kind. If you can handle that, you can expect frequent repeat encounters with your velt of choice.

Finally finished Mohrta today. It's got 4 endings (the secret one had a good twist) and a lot of fun weapons (including a playing card deck with magic rng.) I mostly played it for it's exploration and quests, but the gameplay and enemies made the stuff outside of worldbuilding pretty engaging, too. Wished the mainhub was bigger and the npcs had more dialogue but on the bright side, it being a gzdoom might give it a modding scene in the future. Would replay just to go through world 4, again.

Ya boy AP is here to post a new chapter of Vipers, Nights, and French Fries. Chapter 14 is coming at ya with almost in a suspenseful 14,000 word package.Synopsis is: Hmmmm, I think our heroes may have forgotten to do something important last chapter, but what was it...? Oh well, they did get a little distracted there by the end, so who could blame them. Tay has an unfortunate bought of illness. I don't know if I've ever seen a snake sneeze. So it's up to Vince to carry the McDougalls team to victory(they're doomed). And on top of it all, Vince is given yet another task for the mysterious Cappo that conscripted him, one that puts the two face to face...As always, I appreciate any and all feedback. Constructive, or not. Thanks for reading.Picked up like 9 extra shifts this month because my workplace is in chaos, so it took me more time than I expected to finish the chapter. Next one might also take some more time as well because I'll be picking up extra shifts in November. At least I'm getting paid well for all of them, kek.

Also the random SWAR racism later in the story just seems to be the beginning of this anti-HFY bitching that plagues his server too. Even people just thinking mankind can be capable get dogpiled as HFY shills.
>>9026043Other than "Hot Kofi", has he actually written any stories that don't involve people getting shot at?Well, "Heart of the Mountain", I suppose, but only because that one takes place in medieval times.I guess "Silent Vigil" counts as well. That's a good one for the spooky season.
>>9026043>Even people just thinking mankind can be capable get dogpiled as HFY shills.Considering that HFY basically started because the number of stories that made mankind completely incapable, it's funny we come full circle in a way.
>>9026043You get the audience you cultivated. He doesn't seem to want humanity to be anything other then both palanquin bearers and cannon fodder for the other races. (except the Valbs and Jars, another reason why they're the favs)>>9026372I never got that. When and where did humans get shit on in sci-fi fiction? If anything it has been obsessively human-centric for decades now. What was it some of the shitty pretentious idpol novels that get a quarter of the sales of the shittiest pulp mags from back then and have no public eye on them, but writers within writing community got butthurt they existed?
Here's Chapter 26 of The Howler!>https://archiveofourown.org/works/61103611/chapters/189904706It only took 90,000 words to wrap back around to the beginning.
>>9026043>broad, sweeping war stories...Whether if it was in part of the need to include x or pressured to do y. I think one issue he has is trying to tie multiple threads together in one story. This is in regards to Autumn War, obviously. I won't regurgitate what I've said in older posts, but I think Autumn War would have been better off in Xipa's POV from start to finish.>SWAR racismIf they mean w/ the allied bugs, who wouldn't? I mean, if I had seen my brothers & sisters get ripped apart by bugs. Why would I turn around to being buddy-buddy with one? It's idiotic. Especially with how secretive they are with the allied bugs, at least from my basic understanding.>anti-HFY dogpilingPure faggotry. Imo, Mankind are living, breathing, terminators. Capable of great artistry & more.
>>9026565>I never got that. When and where did humans get shit on in sci-fi fiction? It's more in the sense that human were written as if they had no traits that they were good at compared to non-humans were written that were stronger, smarter, bigger, have stronger senses, have better morals and so on. Human are ulimately written to be the underdog mostly, and people kinda got sick of this shit, in which HFY was made, which really just repeats the issue but in the other way around.
>>9026565>I never got that. When and where did humans get shit on in sci-fi fiction?I mean, classic pulpy sci-fi of the 50's and 60's is usually "Attack of the Martian Menace" or some such, where Earth keeps getting invaded by a vastly superior alien force. Even War of the Worlds is like that. Sure, humans win in the end, but it's usually due to some scrappy resistance blowing up the mothership a la Independence Day, or something outside our control, like the germs in WotW. There were comparatively few sci-fi stories that I can think of where humans had comparable martial might, up until very recently.
>>9026580Remarkable. "Unlikely allies" is a well-explored trope, but still fun. I look forward to seeing how this turns out!

>>9028043Forums as a whole are kinda dead nowadays.
>>9011388>theyre not gonna be naked.idiot.
>>9028043lamia tali my beloved
>>9028121Nta, but I think he means that its not gonna be the type of setting where humans wear clothes, but aliens don't for some reason and find it weird that humans do
>>9026565>I never got that. When and where did humans get shit on in sci-fi fiction? If anything it has been obsessively human-centric for decades now.it started off as someone being tired of humans always being shown as weaker, dumber, or just lesser than aliens and wanted a story were humans were the space monsters for once. People liked the idea, some fun green text stories came from it, and then it got flanderized over the years to usually meaning humans being some Mary Sue god race that can't be stopped and everyone loves.Originally it was just that humans were just physically superior to other alien races in some way to shake things up a bit but were by no means unbeatable. But read most any HFY story these days and they'll read like the whole race is the protagonist in a generic isekai manga.
>>9028393Besides being used for covering up adam and eve's shame clothes have a lot of practical uses so why wouldn't aliens also wear clothing? Unless they never had to deal with scorching deserts, freezing winyers or swarms of nasty bugs wanting to eat them alive.
scrungly ayy
>>9028796on space stations with controlled environments and temperature settings, nudism would be ideal if not mandatory
>>9028896only if the station always functions perfectly. in a place where you could suffer the dangers of vacuum exposure, radiation, intense heat or cold from broken sub systems, etc, i'd say some kind of comfy but durable flight suit would be best. if you want lewdness you could always flavor it to be skin tight.
one could argue that some alien races could be hardy enough that clothing isn't needed except in more extreme environments so while not full nudist they would wander around naked while relaxing or just trying to wind down.On the other hand, if you're looking for a story idea. You could have it that all races (humans included) were concealing space suits when around other aliens either because cross species diseases is something that's and actual worry, most species find the others to look odd or even disturbing so everyone bundles themselves up to reduce awkwardness when working with other races, or some other psychical or social reason and the story focuses on one individual who's sole goal is to try and see what every alien looks like naked for one reason or another (could be they are a bit of a deviant or maybe they are completely pure and just extremely curious). So goes around doing anything they can to try and convince their coworkers/friends/whatever to take off their clothes by trying to either romance them, convince them to a game like strip poker, or whatever just to see what every alien actually looks like. Could play them up as a suave charmer that can talk the pants off anyone given a chance or just an overly curious goof ball that doesn't realize that wooing an alien to strip means you're probably going to have to sleep with them now until the moment is staring them in the face.
What is up anons, it has been a while; drawfag here. Anybody up for some requests? Will start making em tomorrow
>>9028981That's a neat and unique idea. Hope someone picks it up.
>>9029002Male quarians are so very underappreciated, but that might be both too normie and The Gay® for the thread.Do the Maykrs from Doom Eternal count as aliens? Not much porn of them outside the Khan Mayker herself and especially not since 2021.Oh here is an underated ayy: The Kaminoans from Star Wars
>>9029002Hork Bajir and Andalites>>9028796I agree, but some settings just seem so concerned with showing the alien as a different creature that they forego any kind of culture they may have, such as styles of clothing or different cultures on the same planet.I'm trying to think of other examples, but because of my brainrot all I can think of is animorphs
>>9029002Quarian face-fucking through the helmet's mouth-port Bonus points if you can see a little cum sloshing around in there

Hello everyone, AurumVerd here. Apologies about the long delay, but I am happy to announce that the sequel to "Surrender, Surrender" is complete! Please see below for the link to the second story in the Breaking The Surface series – Hot & Cold. Royal Road mirror will be up later. Whilst I was originally planning on having lots of art ready, I found I just needed to get this out there. For now, this is a temporary cover, and one I hope to eventually replace. Overall, the release schedule will be slower for this one, probably one chapter every few days.Summary: Six years on from the events of Surrender, Surrender, the galaxy has changed dramatically in a short time. Alien life exists, and not all of it likes humanity back. Dr Elias Savage, young genius and self-claimed dickhead, is part of a diplomatic endeavour to increase goodwill towards the religious and xenophobic race of the Tylas. Given a blank check to carry out research for the sake of GaltCorp, there is only one problem lying between him and scientific glory – his haughty inorganic alien lab partner. Forced to rise together or fall alone, Elias must overcome his smartass nature if he is to uncover the secrets lying within the enigmatic Schrödinger-Drive, and to see prevail against the shadowy forces lurking in the dark. Hello /xeno/. The divegrass/football team is back and is happening today. Today we are playing against /vg/ so it is a classic X-com game. Thanks for voting to keep the Xenomorph on the team and she has a great opponent to face. https://pastebin.com/7yXYbFqnWe are in a group of death so every match is tough. Our game is second but if you want to watch the other teams in this group that starts at the top of the hour. Thanks for your support
>>9029599The other two in the group are /co/ and /vp/ so it’s very themed
>>9029072
>>9029621my neurons are activated
>i catch a divegrass for once>xenophilia sidelined for whole game
>>9029687To be fair. You can blame the one commenter for choosing >humanoid Marian Queen over the Xenomorph. She will get her time to play don’t worry. >>9029599That being said we did end up winning vs the strong /vg/ attack. Our next opponent will be /vp/ and it will be the last match on Sunday. Pheromosa bowl will happen and will happen on Sunday
>>9029559Unfortunately, no art yet. I was hoping to improve my art by the time I released the sequel, but my skills aren't quite yet up to snuff yet. Hopefully I can get some sketches out soon.
