I want to make an RPG Maker Game that is like Magic Shop + RPG mechanics, so you basically use transformations on the enemies to win, but I am not sure what angle to go with.1. Enemies are the ones transforming.The player would basically have to be fighting a horde of hostile females, so maybe a lone alchemist who has been captured by elves or fairies and has to escape mixing assorted herbs and stuff which cause his enemies to become small/big/inflate/petrify/become assorted monstergirls, etc. temporarily. Pros: Gives the combat system a nice gimmick. Would probably be easier to update the game with more enemies/transformations later on. Would make a SFW version a bit easier to release. Would require less assets for overworld cutscenes. It'd be more feasible for a player to use all transformations before a game is over. Cons: Would probably require a lot more assets per transformation available.2. The party is transforming.The player and the party would be embarking on some more standard RPG Quest and the transformations would be essentiallly RPG Classes/Jobs with their own stats and skillsets. Not sure if the MC would be male or female in this case. Pros: It would be easier to give characterization to party members than enemies, making the transformations potentially more entertaining. Cons: A lot of comedy transformations would be impractical in combat, it'd have to focus on the monstergirl transformations angle. Players might just not engage with most transformations in a single playthrough and focus just on the strongest. Cost of character reactions per transformation would be higher, so maybe I'd be pressured to more limited facial expressions.What do you guys think?

ive been fucking around in rpgmaker the last weekafter the 2nd day i realized that i can basically recreate 95% of coomer games made in this engine now, because it's creators are unbelievably lazy and the players have very low expectationswhen the issue of how disappears (due to how easy it is to make things in rpgm) the question becomes what do you actually make, and this is the stage that almost everyone just rushes through.Realistically you need at least a month of work to come up with a good design, but the bar of coomer games is so low that even people who obviously never did any design thinking can still achieve success, players just use walkthroughs/cheats or save editing and pretend that its fine, continuing funding this slop.

I have an extremely "autistic" and different kind of game that I would like to share with everyone in hopes of it getting a small amount of popularity however possible.The name of the game is Erolike (for now at least). The idea of the game is basically offering an immersive fantasy life simulation for the player. There are of coure the base story quests which involve killing the demon lord under the orders of the world goverment which has summoned otherworlder adventurers to deal with this mess but this is only the main quests. The big idea behind the design of the game is to make it modular and provide a great deal of side quests and different objectives to be achieved. To get an idea of what type of game I want to make try to imagine an Erotic Adventurer Mode Dwarf Fortress, Hentai Caves of Qud, Sexual Kenshi, Hentai Elona/Elin, you get the idea.For now only the more "normal" aspects of the game are ready but I still would please ask of you to play it on itch and let me know what you think of it, spread it around if you find it interesting enough and remember that a lot of fetish content is to come.Btw, yes I do know ascii kinda sucks but I have no way of making this a graphical game.

I think I just finished everything in this game at the moment.It's pretty good, but it's also a microcosm of wegs in general. Early on it's pretty ambitious in how it's gameplay is set up. You've got certain actions gated behind stat checks that you need to raise through quests and grinding. Gain more demonic power by fucking girls so you can unlock the ability to influence them through speech, make them charm each other, or invade/change their dreams. Increase magic power, strength, endurance, or agility through grinding, and occasionally get sex scenes and relationship development from it.I like how there's an actual explanation for why our player character is a jobless graduate still living with his mother, but also a pussy magnet of the highest order. It also makes him a rather evil character early on, charming unwilling women into becoming his slaves and forcing their volition.After a while, it just kind of gives up on these ideas, and he just becomes a generic anime edgy protagonist. At least it's always been shown that he cares about his girls. Instead of it just being "let's rape the woman who's definitely my landlady in her sleep" it turns into "I'm just trying to show you what you really want deep down, can't you see that this way of life is better?"I'm not really into Netori, or whatever you call it, but I felt like this game made it work decently well just because of the evil aspect. That too was more or less completely abandoned half way through. Near the start, every character wouldn't shut up about their husbands and how inadequate they were compared to the MC, but then later on, even when dealing with marriage age women, they started to all be virgins or sometimes divorcees.Shifting focus is the main issue I see with these sorts of games, which is completely expected when we're talking about indie games with the initial budget of a ham sandwich, and as much available time per day to put it together.
