I want to make an RPG Maker Game that is like Magic Shop + RPG mechanics, so you basically use transformations on the enemies to win, but I am not sure what angle to go with.1. Enemies are the ones transforming.The player would basically have to be fighting a horde of hostile females, so maybe a lone alchemist who has been captured by elves or fairies and has to escape mixing assorted herbs and stuff which cause his enemies to become small/big/inflate/petrify/become assorted monstergirls, etc. temporarily. Pros: Gives the combat system a nice gimmick. Would probably be easier to update the game with more enemies/transformations later on. Would make a SFW version a bit easier to release. Would require less assets for overworld cutscenes. It'd be more feasible for a player to use all transformations before a game is over. Cons: Would probably require a lot more assets per transformation available.2. The party is transforming.The player and the party would be embarking on some more standard RPG Quest and the transformations would be essentiallly RPG Classes/Jobs with their own stats and skillsets. Not sure if the MC would be male or female in this case. Pros: It would be easier to give characterization to party members than enemies, making the transformations potentially more entertaining. Cons: A lot of comedy transformations would be impractical in combat, it'd have to focus on the monstergirl transformations angle. Players might just not engage with most transformations in a single playthrough and focus just on the strongest. Cost of character reactions per transformation would be higher, so maybe I'd be pressured to more limited facial expressions.What do you guys think?

ive been fucking around in rpgmaker the last weekafter the 2nd day i realized that i can basically recreate 95% of coomer games made in this engine now, because it's creators are unbelievably lazy and the players have very low expectationswhen the issue of how disappears (due to how easy it is to make things in rpgm) the question becomes what do you actually make, and this is the stage that almost everyone just rushes through.Realistically you need at least a month of work to come up with a good design, but the bar of coomer games is so low that even people who obviously never did any design thinking can still achieve success, players just use walkthroughs/cheats or save editing and pretend that its fine, continuing funding this slop.
