I'm curious if there'd be any interest. When I played Mass Effect I was super intrigued by the Protheans studying early humanity and have inspiration for writing. I'm thinking of 2 scenarios;1. Caveman gets abducted for study and the station/ship crashes and qt researcher ends up having to work with a professional hunter gatherer. Or another race being studied instead of a prothean researcher,2. Humanity gets uplifted during the medieval age, and Quarians try to take back Rannoch with troops more physically capable. (Yes, I know the Morning war was in 1895 creative liberties within reason or other races and scenarios could work) The main perspective is following knights with omni-blades/shotguns on a crusade against the geth for their benefactors or acting as the strong hand for a less physically capable species like the Salarians.The tone of the relationship would be one of the most important factors. As primitive doesn't mean stupid, it'd probably get old to have a bunch of humans seeing aliens like gods and shields as magic. Main character might be a second or third generation of trained auxiliary troops, understanding their race's technological progress and trying to serve out a contract. Or in an order that pledged fealty to an alien "lord".

It's from a scene in chapter 18, and I really like how it's the first one to really show the difference between the Fyrix and Eigen.I gotta shoutout Teng for all the original work he put into their designs.
