What is the best way to prevent sora 2 from making a video 3d animated instead of live action? I've tried just "Live action" and "Live action and not 3d animated or 2d animated" but nothing is consistent.

Try to start with some img2img generator that knows what you're doing like OP which was "photorealistic image of scene in the picture" on BFL's Flux 2 playground (link in OP), then submit that picture to Sora then wait for it to tell you it refuses to do this.
