So games that are like Summertime Saga the ones that immediately leap to my mind are Another Chance and What a Legend. Sandbox games with relationships, a longer plot, and (good) 2d art. Like SS they're both good but are unfinished and basically will never finish, so beware what you're getting into.

Goodbye Eternity might be in the same league, I don't know, I saw "0.1x" and never even tried it.

After that your options with 2d wegs start to become limited very quickly. It becomes kind of a pick your poison between the various silos. RPGM slop (Siren games, Karryn's Prison, Daily Lives of My Countryside), Trainer games (Innocent witches, four elements trainer, something unlimited), furry games (Ravager, My Pig Princess), half-baked steamslop (like OceanLust. that has pregnancy btw.), more categories im not thinking of.

It's basically a progressive downhill slope of becoming less "vanilla" (in the vweg sense) with worse writing and worse art. And also none of that relationship stuff you're after, in fact most of them its just one and done sex scenes.

Oh they love it, consistantly theory crafting, some want to be evil. I can't exactly say what the plan is, but these sorts of games do tend to be quite receptive to community feedback.

It deals with matters in more mature ways than you'd expect from a WEG. It only has four main love interests, so it fleshes them out more than a lot of shallow pools. It is more slow burn, four chapters in and one of the main love interests doesn't have a scene with the MC. I think what amounts to the biggest issue is that it isn't the creator's only job, so it seems updates are on the slow side. But he is still posting comments on the discord, so he does seem to still be working on it.
