Apologies if its a noob question but when I replace the female look with one of my saved presets, the hair in most of Ispinox scenes remain overlapping my preset. How can I get rid of it? I don't see it in the active hair category. I've not used the atom selection much so not very familiar with it but dont see it in the list there either.

Merge isnt selected. Its one of the recent Ada ones. Pretty much any of his scenes that have game ported females seem to have the same hair problems. One free on the hub is "ada wong and the mutant". Meshed and AshAuryn killed the social aspect of VaM. Anyone left is on the discord, and they've been purged of anyone that actually wants to talk about VaM critically. I have an updated my twitter/Bluesky with my new monster girl looks because I've been so busy between school and work. There's also a bunch of QoL advancements that VaM never got that are supposed to be promised in 2.0 but Meshed is milking the fuck out of it. Even when it is released, he killed off most of the best creative minds behind his program, so we won't be getting cool dark things from creators like Cenxuar. Just vanilla outside of some Asian creators that don't even post on the hub.

Yeah I messed with the settings. I was trying to make my own morph for thigh socks so it would look like they were hugging the skin more tightly. But the leg area doesn't move as much as the torso area.

This thread is the closest thing to a VaM tech support so I guess I'll ask here. Recently I downloaded AWAKENING's lap dance scenese and some work fine but others have broken sounds, as in sex audio doesn't play and the song is the only thing that's audible. I tried looking into the plugins but I don't see anything obvious. This is in VR, don't know how it works on desktop.

If it's a problem in some scenes but not others then it could be just the scene itself that the author will likely have to fix themselves. I don't dabble in vr son I don't know if that has an effect on anything.

I wanted to do this but I have so much shit it would take me a week to organize. Not helping is the fact scenes in this game have autistic dependencies so you have to have 50 versions of the same plugin because some older scene might need to use it instead of the newest version.

There is literally a plugin that will only load the vars you need for whatever scene or look you're trying to load.

I don't know about number of vars, but game does run noticeably slower after you load in shitton of them in the same scene, like when trying dozens of different outfit combinations and putting together enviroments. It's like shit stays partially loaded in and eats up memory.
After I get done with the outfit, decorations, lighting and other shit for the scene and I am ready to take screenshots or beat my meat - I always restart first, scene runs much more smooth after that.

Coming back to VAM after a long break, where do people get scenes/looks/assets that arent hosted on the VAM hub? Used to be able to use the VAMscenes subreddit but I guess it got banned. Is it just miscellaneous patreons and discord servers now? Not sure how to go about rebuilding my library beyond just going through the VAM hub but I know theres lots of content that isnt on there and I dont know where else to look
