I'm like you, i actually have a bunch online friend in internet. And most of them are really good to me they also give me some good game that need to try if i have PC. Well listen here, it's okay if you want to make friends on internet if there's a someone calling you “freak” don't care about it. But also you need to socialize with another person too. For upgrade your social skills. Anyway that's my only advice sorry if it's bad advice

Additional: i actually make a bunch of friends on real life but i kinda have trauma experience about having friends on real life it's all started when i was in junior high school on the 3rd grade isn't normal 1st some of my friend joking about my father name and 2nd they also joking about me. I don't remember it's or nah cuz it's pretty old memory

People on the internet have emotional problems and a tendency to overreact or they're in this "I'm a victim hero" mindset or they act arrogant believing they're a witty badsss all the time. Not worth it compared to the real world. Either that or they talk a few moments and forget who you are. People in the real world don't hide behind the screen and get as emotional or woke as the internet.

And if they are like that in the real world, they have a tendency to be very weird and offputting, and usually am around nerds who are douchebags who act like because they're intelligent they are better than everyone. When really they're pretty fucking stupid but only with the ability to convince people they're smart.
