Parents were forcing me to commute this year and they aren't exactly accepting of everything about me (long story), so I thought I could get by by staying over at friends' places on weekends at times

But riddle me this... how tf am I supposed to spend the night over with friends if parking enforcement is aggro af and you can't even keep a car overnight on any of the legal parking lots anymore??

Sure some people have driveways... but what if you wanna hang out with people who don't have a driveway

I know people stay at each others' places all the time, but they like all live on campus, or immediately off

Never thought I'd be saying this at the beginning of college when I was living in dorms and the future seemed bright and lively, but my experience has pushed me towards strong towns / new urbanism / YIMBYism

And for those of you saying "just wait till next year", THERE IS NO NEXT YEAR. I'M A SENIOR.

Whatever anyone suggests, you're not going to "yes but" it. The post just screams the mindset of a complainer. So I won't read any further.

Maybe I'm retarded, but I feel some information could be articulated better.

Regardless, how far do these friends live? How long would.walking take? Can they pick you up and have you pay for gas? Can you not park somewhere nearby and walk the rest of the way? How does public transportation look in your area?

Please read my questions carefully. I didn't ask if you can walk to them. I asked how long the walk is, etc.

Park your car somewhere else and bike/bus in to campus.

They live on campus. My campus has buses. It's so tarded though there's literally no way to park on campus anymore

Okay....would you mind responding to any of the questions/suggestions that either myself (>>33595500) or the other anon (>>33595673) brought up? You told us where they live and that buses are an option. You didn't address how far you are, or why biking/busing isn't an option, or why you're friends can't pick you up and have you reimburse for gas or something.

Because then I can't stay overnight and avoid my fucking parents' idiocy

Why can you not stay overnight at a friend's??
