Socialization is one of the best ways to stimulate your mind and keep your brain healthy, believe it or not, but you can only socialize so much at a time. It's cliché but the concept of the social battery is real. Learning to recognize this and dipping out of social events to unwind and center yourself is the major take away, but don't fall into the life trap of "I'm an introvert so I never need to talk to people" or you will die both retarded and alone.
