Socialization is one of the best ways to stimulate your mind and keep your brain healthy, believe it or not, but you can only socialize so much at a time. It's cliché but the concept of the social battery is real. Learning to recognize this and dipping out of social events to unwind and center yourself is the major take away, but don't fall into the life trap of "I'm an introvert so I never need to talk to people" or you will die both retarded and alone. >>33614021I've been told I'm mysterious, but after 30 seconds of talking to me people get bored and never talk to me again, even if I try to reengage later out of increased comfort/familiarity, it seems like I'm a burden to them or something. I have pretty monotone speech most of the time and I tend to not have a lot of facial expression, but people used to like being around me despite that. For some reason the script flipped a couple years ago and now I don't know what to do, but I feel like garbage whenever people respond to me the way that have been lately and it doesn't make me want to keep talking to people.

But if I'm in an MMO i will relentlessly complain about life without anyone needing to hear it.There's girls I've talked to, who I ask about their lives, I invite to talk about themselves, I even say something about myself to try to lower the stakes. They're laconic even though they initiate conversation. These girls may have self shaming issues or whatever.There's people who may be the second type and they talk mainly about what others do the few times they do speak. There's wreck of people who think of themselves and save it to themselves.All of these are sadly lumped together and assumed society should just accomodate, and when it doesn't do they tell them to fuck off and find their own over the internet without more guidance.
