How people even finding friends for long time?Trying to find someone who likes at least some stuff that I do, or just interesting people who I can actually talk and spend time with, and failing miserably so. People at my school mostly interested in some casual stuff like drinking vaping and all this bs so I dont really have options thereI had one good internet friend for five years but they kinda stopped going online recently, so now Im alone againTrying to meet new people and approaching them first to talk, but it keeps being the same, no one seems to stick aroundNever really had problems with being avoided or something, just going into different pathways with people. Im okay with spending time alone myself and enjoy it, but sometimes its sad to not have anyone to talk and spend time with.
I found my long time friends through video games and highschool. I kept almost no one from uni.Being part of a community helps.
thanks. Im trying to meet people at favourite games and school, trying to be active, but it keeps being just some casual one-day conversations
Younger people are worse at making friends than before. People in general are. It's all very superficial. You seem to want real friends. I'm 32 and probably too old but I understand your sadness. It's a very normal feeling.

thank you! Yeah, it seems so. Just keep hoping that the right people will come with time
dont really have activities that can be done irl sadly, but thanks for advice!
I just feel like maybe theres something wrong with me so people dont want to actually spend time and talk for a long time, but maybe im just overthinking it
