Hypothetically, if you were 18 years old and don't have to work because you have a successful online game that pulls in enough money to live, how would you spend all your time? This is about me, I have both youth and free time, but I don't know how to spend it. How do I find quests IRL while just aimlessly exploring the world like a video game? I currently have no friends, so it is like playing Skyrim with no companions.
>>33642025I'd constantly be travelling, and then eating out and working out. Bring my family and friends on vacations.
>>33642025>if you were 18 years old and don't have to work because you have a successful online game that pulls in enough money to live, how would you spend all your time?Well, if I were 18 years old I'd probably just smoke weed and play video games and jerk off. If you're asking 35 year old me now my answer would be to invest that money and figure out what you're going to do after that online game money stops coming in. Nothing lasts forever, OP. Make a plan for when that money source dries up if you haven't already.
>>33642025Travel. Apps like Boo and Tandem are international social media basically. You can make some friends to meet up with in the places you want to travel to.

You're asking me how I would spend my time not how I think you should, so don't blame me.I would spend half my time (maybe a month on, a month off) working hard on game #2 for the inevitable time #1 drops in popularity, or perhaps working on more content for game #1 - whichever makes the most financial sense. If #1 still has growth potential I would lean towards more content. I would network with local game developers (in person) and try to make friends, particularly trying to find potential (good, most will not be good) collaborators. I would not bet everything on game #2 being a success, I would have a backup plan of some sort. The other half of the time I would be camping in the mountains or on my modest property in the sticks making stone tools and pottery and living in a mud hut. I would not touch a computer at all.
