It takes place right after the yellow turban rebellion. It has issues with acting and battle presentation, but it's still fun because of all the great characters like Cao Cao and the three brothers. It's not faithful to the source material from what I've heard, so /his/ wouldn't like it, probably. Fights are pretty cool, though.
