My GF's grandparents gave her a $50 Target gift card right before they died. She has been keeping the gift card to 'buy something special'. Well it's been a few months and the card has just been gathering dust.One of my friends works in Target and she said that the new Borderlands on PS5 is there early but I have to get it now. I have no money right now, so I said can I use a gift card for it, and she said yes. But she said it has to be today because theres only a few copies left.So I went to my GF and said, I need to use your Target gift card to get it. She said no, it's her grandparents gift card before they died and it's sentimental to her. I said WTF are you even gonna use it for? Cmon. She screamed at me that I can't have it. I was like whoa if you're going to be a bitch fine. But the memories of us playing Borderlands 4 co-op will be special. We ended up having a huge fight. I hid away from her all day, and then kept texting her every hour Target was closer to closing and that she still has a chance to change her mind.An hour before Target closed, she came downstairs in tears. She had been crying. She gave me the Target Gift Card and said to go buy the videogame. I said will you come with me? She said, no. So I drove all the way there and got it. But when I got home she was sitting alone and she was really sad and gloomy sitting by herself in the dining room table. I never saw her so depressed. So I suddenly felt like a huge piece of shit.How do I make this right with her? I didn't know that we would be fighting over borderlands let's just say.
