Commit pseudocide. Stage your own death in a way that would be extremely difficult to recover your body, like creating a suicide note about how you plan to jump into a river from a dam - the currents underneath these dams are extremely dangerous (look up "drownint machines" if you're curious) so there would not be any effort to try and recover a body that is suspected to be down there. After that, you'd just need to lay low and not do anything to draw attention to yourself and make your family suspicious.
