Is it worth seeing a speech therapist if I don't necessarily have really bad impediments like a lisp, but just a hard time speaking clearly with good tone, coming from almost a lifetime of not being social? I'm definitely more social now, my voice and mannerisms have improved slightly, but I still often stutter and have problems speaking in a non-monotone voice

Vocal coach will help. Speech therapy will be great for the stutter. Go for both.

try reading out loud 2-10 pages a day. you could even record it and remember where you are to cringe.
