How do I stop myself from overthinking literally everything? I'm not just talking about things like "What does this person REALLY think of me? They gave off X vibes." Though also that. I mean like, "What am I going to do when my girlfriend/wife dies in a few decades from now?" "What am I going to do when I travel and I don't know what to eat? Do they have edible food there?" "How am I going to cope with being bored at a doctor's appointment tomorrow?" Really either out there shit, or really mundane shit that shouldn't matter.

Keep yourself occupied. Doomscrolling is a popular choice, but you can also read books or play video games

Stop caring. Go with the flow. If what you're worried about happens, does it really matter that much?

I try to do that but it's really not that easy. Intrusive thoughts hit hard, and it turns into a mental death spiral where I end up worried (sometimes literally) sick about entirely mundane shit like going to work a new site at the same job I already do.

That's fair. I can try to do that more.
