Should I go to the hospital. I have so much energy and racing thoughts I can't sleep at all. I don't know what the fuck is going on I haven't drink any caffeine today.

Sometimes the body does weird things.
Do you do regular exercise? If not then it might be that.
Do you have a lot of stress right now? (Generally speaking) might be a reaction to that.
Did you eat something very spicy or unusual? Might be your your intestine acting up.
>>
>>33653563
No I feel euphoric right now. I legitimately cannot sleep
>>
>>33653567
Uhm then enjoy it? Again: Sometimes the body does weird things, like sometimes I wake up and stay awake during a full moon. That happens about once a year, but it doesn't interfere too much with my life, so I don't worry too much.
>>
>>33653603
Idk I'll ride the tiger and see how things go in the next few days. What's the worst that could happen?
>>
>>33653607
Exhaustion and fucked up sleep schedule probably.
Well if it keeps you awake for several days then definitely go to a doc.
>>
>>33653613
I see if any other anons have any answers
>>
>>33653552
That's anxiety anon. A panic attack probably if youre this wound up.
>>
>>33653648
OP did describe it as a positive feeling, I might not be a specialist, but it doesn't sound like a panic reaction.
>>
>>33653653
OK OP here I must mention that I'm getting slight hallucinations maybe
>>
>>33653671
Drugs?
>>
>>33653653
I used to study clinical psych, just saying, sound counterintuitive: anxiety and excitement can have the same physiological and chemical markers, then mental perception can mold it.
Think two people about to bungee jump. One is bouncing off the walls with joy and one is terrified. Their bodies chemically are doing the same thing, just the way they're both interpreting the situation modifies the feeling.

But especially assuming anon is younger, racing thoughts and high energy definitely sounds anxiety related. If theres no substances involved (he remarked he took no caffeine, if hes divulging that information Ill assume no other substances are involved since I feel hed share) his system it most definitely wound the fuck up about something.

Doctor? Yes. If this is a frequent occurence Id even suggest a biochemistry test to rule out thyroid or other endocrine issues.
ER? If there are heart palpitations and/or chest tightness, yes to be on the cautious side, but panic could cause that as well.

Regardless, one off? >>33653563 is right. Body does weird things sometimes.
>>
>>33653679
No that's the weird part.
>>
>>33653681
Im 22 i cant focus or stop moving
>>
>>33653681
Interesting, thanks for the explanation
>>
>>33653693
K well with the addition of hallucinations which I did miss when typing this, now you might be in ER territory. What do you mean maybe? Like is this hyper alertness and maybe youre not sure if youre hearing sounds or not? Or we talking full blown someone not real is there, or youre hearing voices etc?

Hyper vigilance still warrants a wait snd see/talk to your doctor when they're open, and actual hallucinations warrant going to the hospital just to be sure.

I forgot to mention this could also be mania. Which itself could be anxiety or a one off.

Seeing shadows across my room
>>
>>33653730
What happens if a put it off for a little
>>
>>33653753
>shadows
Sounds more hyper vigilance. Especially if you're fully acknowledging they aren't real.

>what happens
Very most likely? You'll burn out a crash.
With these things acutely, especially if your heart isnt involved (again, mind those heart palpitations or chest tightness) the concern is more behaviour. Like if youre getting bad ideas or get behind the wheel of a car when youre not thinking straight. Burn some energy. Go for a walk or do some jumping Jack's. Breathing exercises wouldn't kill ya.

ER for heart stuff, or if you actually are fully hallucinating. Definitely speak to your doctor. Anxiety, even mania sounds like the most likely thing here. If this is a one off it'll go away. Wouldn't hurt to ask for a biochemistry test.
>>
>>33653730
Ok I think I'll be fine besides everything
>>
>>33653776
I just clarify I haven't slept for a day and a half
>>
>>33653778
Thats ok. That'll lend to the shadows and euphoria. Really does sound like youre panicking and sleep deprived. I cant really do much for you here except reassure.

Go talk to your doctor when you can. Mind sources of stress in your life. If you wanna try and sleep do whats called 4-7-8 breathing. That could really calm your system down to. Deep breaths, breath in 4 counts, hold 7 counts, exhale 8 counts. Mind on the counting.
>>
>>33653785
I'll check in if I go beyond a couple days. I know things can get dangerous beyond then
>>
>>33653790
But yeah I genuinely don't feel tired at all
>>
>>33653799
Yeah you seem wound up. Doctor ASAP. ER if you think youre losing touch with reality, or heart stuff.
>>
>>33653552
Sounds like mania. Are you bipolar? Does it run in your family? Manic spells can require hospitalization.
>>
>>33654213
And yes hallucinations are common with bipolar mania, they're one of the signs that it's severe enough to require immediate intervention. Get to a hospital asap.
