I don't normally ask for advice here, but I haven't had a good Christmas in God knows how long. Family is split apart and hates each other, friends seldom hang out/bail on me last minute. Any advice on how to cope with the next three months and hopefully have a happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas?

>>33656735>I don't normally ask for advice herewhy not? kind of shitty to just come here expecting answers on the easy questions.Having said all that, alcohol is your solution,

I don't know how populated the area that you live in is or how easy it'll be for you but if your current relationships aren't working for you find some new ones elsewhere
watch generic christmas movies like home alone or whatever every week and eat everything in sighthalloween is a scam to sell costumes anyways dont bother with that shit

>>33656735Thanksgiving isn't a real holidays. Halloween is just about giving out candy to neighborhood kids and watching horror movies so that's easy enough. Pumpkins are dirt cheap so I just start carving out jack o lanterns weeks ahead of time just like how people set up their 10 foot tall skeleton decorations ahead of time. I don't care that squirrels and whatever else are eating them up, that's part of the process.Christmas & new years is mostly bullshit and def the worst holiday/time of the year. You could just nostalgiamaxx and marathon a bunch of cartoons & movies you hopefully have fond memories of. As retarded as it sounds, it is still kinda nice to walk around at night (4PM) and look at all the colorful bright lights. Especially if you live in or near a big city there's usually all sorts of giant displays all winter long.
