I am getting my EU citizenship by descent, but I will have to wait 6 months to 1 year. What can I do with my life in the mean time? Boredom is killing me

That's for you to figure out. That's a part of what we call "being an adult". The good thing though is that even if you waste your time learning something completely useless, it'll boost your base brain stats, making it easier to pick up a skill that's actually useful.
