I have two essential questions for you, anons.

1. If you were dating a girl aged 25, how many previous bfs would be a red flag?

2. If a girl reveals to you that she has a history of casual sex, would you immediately lose interest in anything serious? Why?

1. Two. Any more than that and either she's the problem, she's unwilling to fix things or she has terrible selection criteria

2. Probably. But when you like someone it's very easy to get swept away. Try your best to remain logical

1. I’d be cautious with women who are 25 and have had zero partners. Too many isn’t great either – I think around 3 to 5 by that age is a healthy number.

2. When it comes to casual sex, I think it really depends on the context. If you’ve had that kind of history yourself, it wouldn’t make much sense to judge your partner for it. And honestly, it’s 2025 people go out, party, have fun, and enjoy life, and there’s nothing wrong with that in my opinion.

3 to 5 boyfriends, or 3 to 5 bodies? The girl I'm dating has 10+, slept with multiple dudes at the same time, told me fucked a guy in the back of a car "recently" and kissed a guy in between when we arranged a date and actually met up.

We fucked on the first date.

She's for the streets, isn't she?

For me, having 3 to 5 boyfriends by 25 feels like a balanced number. But when it comes to body count, it really depends on the context. For example, a girl studying abroad for a few years might not be looking to build a long-term future in that country, but she still goes out, enjoys life, and has fun. In that case, even 10+ wouldn’t be a problem. For me, the past is context, not a judgment.

What matters more is the intention. If she hooks up on the first date or kisses another guy while we already have something planned, that would be a deal breaker. Not because of the act itself, but because it shows a lack of seriousness. And if I get the feeling that her past isn’t just situational fun but rather a pattern like not being able to be alone, chasing validation, or being addicted to male attention, then that’s also a red flag. At the end of the day, it’s not about numbers, it’s about context and mindset.

1. anything outside of [1-10] would be suspicious. 10 might be high but nowadays you can't expect young women to stay with their bfs for years, they just don't do that anymore until later in life.
2. yup. this however is a problem. pump, then dump. don't get attached.

I wouldn't ask either question until well into the relationship, if then. They cerrtainly wouldn't be gatekeeping red flags

her first love at 13-15
second and third in high school
then couple guys in uni.
then couple guys after uni

I'd say under 5 is ideal
7 is the limit

I wouldn't care about either one because any type of standard would reduce the options significantly.
