37 years old. marriage going nowhere, fighting over the smallest things. 2 kids in the kindergarten. should I divorce and fulfil my dream of moving to Japan? Will still have around 200k in assets after divorce. Wish I could still be around my older son, but she will probably take the kids back to her home country anyway and I see no point in staying a miserable fuck.

My wife got lectured on multiple occasions about things that she was wrong about when arguing with me (by professionals like our kid's paediatrician) and she has not apologised even a single time to me.I just feel bad for my kids. My wife is trying to act hard when I am mentioning the divorce, telling me she will do fine. But I know she won't. She is the type of person to make small things very complicated. What is really easy for other mothers, is sometimes sisyphean for her. She would have to give up her career despite being a career woman and would still not have enough energy to manage the household by herself. My older son already has problems to socialize. Without me it will be even worse, I am afraid.
