Try to get the things you don't have if you want, but with the family part you're fucked obviously. Also, if you have money (have a decent job with good money saved up or are rich from your parents) and do things on your own just fine, plus enjoy that lifestyle, then I suggest you keep it that way. Sure you can occasionally hang out with people if you know for a fact you enjoy that or are one of those extremely needy people, but if you have never had a girlfriend and want one, to have her live with you, and maybe a family, etc. I suggest you take a very hard look and understand that shit isn't a fairy tale, plus your life can go to complete shit with that route extremely fast.

TL;DR: Life is a gamble, people use you for what you have and are fake as hell (99% of the time), so if you're currently comfortable, then stay that way. In other words, be careful when going for those things. Also, life is boring as hell, so you either deal with that or go insane according to most anons I guess.
