Where are all the entry level jobs?

The job market’s been absolutely decimated over the past five years. Companies know people are desperate, so they’ve got all the leverage now.

Entry-level jobs? Practically nonexistent... everything either requires senior experience or a personal connection.

My advice: network like crazy. Befriend people inside companies and get them to recommend you to their managers.

For context, I’ve applied to 437 tech jobs over the past four years. Got responses from 35, interviews at 17, and only one offer... which promptly went bankrupt a week later, lol.

Not OP but

Jesus fucking christ, those numbers are bleak! Where do you live? Which kind of positions did you apply to?

I'm at about 100. 2 interviews, 0 offers

The social contract is broken. Just fucking lie about your experience. These companies are lying to you and exploiting you.

Have you been out of the job market for a decade?
