My ex got a car and the down payment for her house from her parents. She rose very quickly in her job because "le female engineer" and was making six figures fucking some other dude in our bed after we broke up while I was sleeping on an air mattress in my business partner's spare room. Now I don't know anything about her life, but since then I kept working, grew my startup huge, we're getting well-known, I have my own place and can pay myself a full salary and have even had a few relationships since then.
