Im in my late 20s and hair loss is starting to catch up to me. I noticed my hairline going back last year and got on oral finasteride for a month but it made me feel absolutely terrible. Low energy, brain fog, and my dick fully stopped working. I got off of that and got on oral minoxidil which gave me chest pains so I stopped that too. I decided not to be on meds for a while and my hair was stable, but I’m noticing more thinning now around my crowns. It’s been very slow and gradual but it has been happening. What do you guys recommend? What can I do that will not give me ED? Anyone here have any success stories?

Pic related is not me btw

have you considered the side effects are probably linked to your anxiety. I've been on fin for years and added min over a year ago with no issues.
>>
>>33703210
I don’t think so. I really felt horrible and when I got off of it I felt normal after a month. At that time in my life there weren’t any major stressors. Are you on 1 mg a day of fin?
>>
>>33703187
I think a lot of you niggas mind-game yourselves into experiencing side-effects. I've been taking both finasteride and dutasteride daily for 3 years with no issues.

just get a wig or hair system, or if you still can grow out your hair and have a hairstyle that can hide the bald spot.

I was on low dose topical fin for 4 years and got numb emotions (feeling nothing while laughing), couldn't feel alcohol and numb orgasm. It took me 1 year to feel normal again. Inb4 muh noceboo, didn't even know it could have these sides.

>>33703254
don't listen to these fucks, fin is literal poison

I would sooner embrace balding than faking my confidence and virility by gluing a mop to my skull.

No, just clean eating, basic multivitamins and training.

you can't win, you are here, and thus, there's something worng with you, the hairloss is just the cherry on the top.
>>
>>33703187
You just listed the remedies. If they don't work for you, you will have accept the balding.
>>
>>33703187
Try topical minoxidil/Finasteride, you apply it to your scalp instead.

Finasteride depletes your GABAa which is an essential neurotransmitter. No refunds

Red light therapy is supposed to work
>>
>>33703187
Topical Minoxidil.
Thats kinda really it (except for finestride but the side effects may not be worth it). It isn't guarenteed to work and but if you started balding it will slow or prevent further loss. However it will not regrow the folicals that died.
>Oral minoxidil
WTF? Unless that is slang for something, this makes no sense. Whole point of it is to be absorbed through the skin at a specific area,
This is like drinking sunscreen for Sunbrun protection.
>>33709286
Training? What?! Lol, explain this one....
The suppliments that supposidly help are Magnesium, Saw Palmeto, and multi vitamins. However how much this helps may vary.
>>33709836
>Finasteride
This is supposed to work, however the side effects are legendary. Erectile disfunction/loss of sex drive and ability, breast enlargement and tenderness, rapid weight gain, and dizziness.
I would rather be bald than a hairy big tittied unfuckable weirdo. Oh, and on top of that it STILL might not work and will not revive dead follicles.
>>33711959
The success rate is barely above 50% and red light seems to have minor self healing effects on people. So mostly placebo Effect
>>33709854
Once the follacle is dead, thats it.
Turkey trips for affordable hair treatment is your best bet to replace dead follacles but you will be using minoxadil from then on. However you gotta know the right doctors in Turkey. In the US, they will very specifically target your net worth and change the price based on what they think you can pay. A hair transplant also isn't guarenteed to take and you can end up with weird freak thinned out looks.

Minoxidill is fine and you have a good chance of stopping it from getting worse and maybe some regrowth. Everything else is a side effect night mare or expensive and embracing biological reality is better,
>Alternative solution
>Take steroids, hit the gym hard, and go for the buff baldguy look

>Wig
I couldn't do this everyday. I would just use it for a limited use like a job iterview, then stop once they hire me. What are you gonna do, fire me for not being as asthetic as you thought?
>>33709275
Not even close to the same. Head hairs only purpose is asthetic. Teeth and skin are functional.
>>33709589
>norwood 1
Using topical minoxidil slows this down, but most people start by norwood 3, the dreaded vertex.
For me, Vertex is where it started and the receding hairline didn't take till much later. Luckily the hairline USUALLY receeds into a widows peak which is asthetic.
>What can suck
the norwood scale isn't one size fits all. Sometimes you keep all the side but your center part line goes and that shit looks horrifying (see Linux Tech Tips Emily Young troon).
Norwood 5 is when its time to let go and shave it off and embrace reality, but if you have been using Minoxidil to slow the loss by the time this hits you'll be in your 60's, you are not picking up bitches and the ones you get don't give a shit about you being bald, and you probably have mild ED. No dude are sex magnets in their 60s.

>>33712043
What about brewed coffee?
Also all those treatments you criticized, how long does it take for the hair the grow back if the treatments do actually work?
>>
>>33712244
>Brewed coffee
Lol what?
>How long do they take
Well first of its IF they will take
Then the next question is how consistent are you.

The short of it is use Minoxidil and it will stop shit getting worse for in a few months to a year but your milage may vary.
>Sometimes it does nothing
>Sometimes low blood pressure side effects are too much for the user
>Sometimes it makes it worse then makes it better
All you can do is youtube it, then hope for the best.
Didn't regrow for me but has slowed things down. Still have a bald spot but I can cope haircut around it.
I expect by my 50s I will have to embrace reality.

>>33707018
Balding is so fucked up when you think about it wtf life

If you are missing 1-2 teeth or your skin is wrinkly and looks like shit it provides function the same, wow you are dumb.
>>
>>33709854
You still have to take finasteride and minoxidil. I'm not sure if you can just replace all hair with the unaffected side parts. But over time you lose the parts that haven't transplanted yet.
>>33703187
Topical minoxidil and dura roller is the minimum. Never worked much for me. Rosemary oil is supposed to have a similar effect. I tried it for half a year. With minoxidil I could see micro hairs, but with rosemary oil there was nothing, but there also wasn't shedding. I gave up because my hair always was shit and I mostly had a buzz cut.
