it´s the act of trying.

Trying to be good at something.

Trying to get a girl.

Trying to get that promotion.

The truth is the people that are at the top of their field never had to try anything. They were always the top dogs and always flew above the competition with zero effort.

Every successful pro athlete obliterated the competition during their childhood despite going through the same training. They were BORN talented, they never had to try.

Chad never had to lift a weight or put in effort getting laid. A sure fire way to tell if you are unattractive is if you have to gymcel, dress well or get a trendy haircut in hopes of getting laid.

It´s not just like that when it comes to getting girls, it´s literally like that in every facet of life.

in Germany there is a great proverb which goes something like this:

"The person who god helps will always be more successful than the person who gets up early"

The old folk had a lot of wisdom, We just use different wording now, The modern version would be " The person who's helped by genetics will always be more successful than the person who gets up early".

Whatever these Traits are, Good Looks, IQ, Height etc, is all To be determined by your genetics.

Why can't I just do my best with the cards I was dealt? Why do you have to try and bring others down?

I think this mentality would cause mass shootings.
Now is it correct? Maybe to some extent. I think successful people probably put in more effort that this suggests. But their success can probably be derived somewhat from their nature. This is essentially nature versus nurture argument which I was taught is about 50/50. You can make up for your genetic shortcomings.

How sad to be OP and have to work so hard to convince himself that it's all impossible so he shouldn't even try

NTA. You can't feed yourself on doing your best. If you're not the kind of guy to tear other men down and assert dominance then curiously you will find yourself the "not a team player" guy and pushed out to starve on the street repeatedly throughout life until you start to connect the dots

Never heard this. What is it in German? I kinda doubt it exists, e.g. "Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund." is even almost the opposite of this.

This is the football player meme, but somehow even more retarded.

Anon, you're a stupid nigger and should learn to listen more than you speak.
A football player does not get put on the team just for having a genetic predisposition for dense calves and broad shoulders. Exercise grows those muscles and training accustoms the player to things like taking a hard fall or being shoulder charged. The reason you're a pathetic skinnyfat failure is because you spent high school eating McDonald's and Little Debbie's and napped before doing your homework. If you bothered to do homework at all.

Trying wasn't for suckers. Quitting on a whim was. And your pathetic ass justifications for never trying are nothing but a sad defense mechanism for your constant self disappointment. You're worse than a failure. Failures have data to go off of, they learned the results of wrong actions and narrowed down better actions. You chained yourself up in Plato's cave, voluntarily, and are making definitive statements about the shadows on the wall. You have no experience worth sharing because you have chosen ignorance over the sting of temporary and minor rejection.
>>
>>33726262
>he thinks he can defeat his slow twitch muscle fibers with hard work and guts
jfl. really though, the hard work here is just a filter. it filters out the ones who aren't talented enough to keep going. the talented will continue to get better and keep being able to compete. the non-talented will hit their peak early and drop out after realizing they aren't getting any better. then there's the true losers. the ones who don't have a shred of talent in their bodies. the ones that will never be good at ANYTHING. they will remain incompetent and will probably work a shitty retail job until they croak; this is probably who OP is.

NTA, not sure normies can mentally distinguish more than 2 posters at the same time. Anyway, it took me 30 years of being an autistic retard, in classes with the normal kids and jobs where I clearly shouldn't have been, to reach a level where I am at best, "slightly awkward"

And still there are some huge gaping congenital holes in my personality such as being able to lead or influence people at all, where I will never equal normal men in this lifetime

But sure, to you who doesn't have to live it, the still deplorable quality of life I have is a reward worth those 30 years of total failure
>>
>>33728645
One of the examples of >>33727891 I witnessed personally... golf! After all it's already the sport where the geeks and chuds who """haven't found their niche yet""" can make it with 10000 hours of improovement and finally be the star in something in life, right?? Heh, Wrong!

The morning of tryouts, the Chads from the baseball, soccer, and curiously, football teams strolled onto the course and with their first swing of the summer, smashed a drive double the distance of Chud's best try even with his savant knowledge of the art of the swing!!@@!@@@@#@#@#@@@@@@

It turns out that if you have the natural gift of coordination in one sport, YOU HAVE IT IN ALL OF THEM!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAN IIIOIINIGGGGGGNIGNIGNIGNIG
>>
>>33729243
>It turns out that if you have the natural gift of coordination in one sport, YOU HAVE IT IN ALL OF THEM!!
Well yeah...but how is that "LE EPIC BLACKPILL" and not a white one if anything? Of course if you have coordination in one area it might carry over to something else. But why did these chads have the coordination to begin with? Oh right, because they actually played sports and exercised during their formative years instead of sitting around watching furry porn like you anon. That was YOUR choice.
And furthermore, not that I'd expect you to know this but golf doesn't exactly require a ton of coordination compared to more athletic sports like baseball, soccer or football. So yeah, common sense would dictate that if you're coordinated enough for those sports you automatically meet the minimum threshold needed for golf.

"The results of hard work and dedication always look like luck. But you know you've earned every ounce of your success."

>because they actually played sports and exercised during their formative years
That is the truth, it's agonizing how you think that was still my choice when I didn't know anything about the cutthroat life I was stuck in for the next 70 years (at most) and how your formative years are everything and I had one chance not to waste them...

Why yes I do carry around the lunatic rage from a lifetime of being told I can do anything I put my mind to and the dissonance of the failures I had piling up and being asked have I tried trying harder, how can you tell?
>>
>>33729310
>it's agonizing how you think that was still my choice
Ok, so why not? Who were these nameless faceless assailants who expressly forbid you from playing a sport? Or working out? Or talking to a girl, or...
>Why yes I do carry around the lunatic rage from a lifetime of being told I can do anything I put my mind to and the dissonance of the failures I had piling up
Ok great, but why then is your plan to turn around and tell other people to give up, not to try, etc? How does that help you? How will it turn your life around or make your situation better? I defy you to give an answer beyond the usual "misery loves company" garbage.
The thought process of people like you and OP (assuming you're different people) seems to be as follows:
>well, *I* am a loser and my life didn't work out
>therefore, *YOU* (any other random person reading this) must also be/will be a loser and you shouldn't try anything because trying won't work
All well and good, but what you and OP don't seem to get is this: we're only here to dispute the second point. Absolutely no one is is disagreeing with the first.

If other people do have obstacles like me, they have every right to be insane
>>

Such as?
And why is your priority seeming to hope other people share them instead of working to overcome them?
If this is just seethe over your lack of a golf swing, literally who gives a fuck? Not everyone is meant to be good at everything and who fucking cares, find something else to be good at and enjoy then.

When I'm so ugly that I'm unable to even be treated like a human by other people then yeah it becomes a problem

How would being ugly affect your coordination anon? And there are a lot of ugly ass athletes out there.

I'm not engaging further with this thread after this, frankly /adv/ as a whole is probably a more shit place than /r9k/.
People who are obsessed with their inferiority have 1) a shitty worldview that will get them nowhere in life, and 2) a horrific misinterpretation of evolutionary fitness.
When e.coli evolves the ability to sustain itself in both citrate and glucose environments, its lifespan is shortened. Oh no, it's been made worse! Except it can be moved between environments rich in either and be fine. Because fitness isn't measured in being dominant in every possible field, it's measured in being adaptable. And humans are VERY adaptable.
In medieval society, who do you think had the perfect genes? Was it the knights who kept the castle secure? The king who led the nation with charisma and used social deduction to pick out experts to fill the council of lawmakers and advisors? Was it the advisors to the king themselves? The blacksmiths keeping shields sturdy and horses shoed? The farmers keeping the country fed?

They all had a role to play. And if you saw anything but the numbers on NFL contracts, you'd fucking see that. Different skills use different parts of the brain and body. Different parts of the brain shrink and grow when you do certain activities. Yes IQ makes you faster at making complex calculations, but not everyone has to be a human TI-82. What do football fags provide to society that YOU care so much about? Entertainment? Go to Hollywood if your only desire is to entertain the masses. Write a movie or direct a show. (Or don't. LA is a tar pit. Just make content online.)
You have to find something you're relatively talented at and NURTURE THAT APTITUDE, WITH WORK, to be successful. I don't care if you're launching shuttles to Venus, helping meatheads confront their marine corps PTSD, telling a story 10,000 people relate to and are moved by, making music, or vtubing. Fucking get out there.
>>
>>33729310
>how your formative years are everything and I had one chance not to waste them
The fuck? Just get into a sport nigger, you may if you're under 30 you can theoretically still go to Olympia in most Sports, and if you aren't you can just join the 99.9% of people who do Sports for their own sake and not to be the bestest every.

>>33729496
>When I'm so ugly that I'm unable to even be treated like a human by other people

Highly unlikely. Even then, that would put you into the bottom 5% , more liek 2% of people who lost big in the genetic lottery. It happens, but it is fairly rare.
This would mean you are currently on here trying to destroy every chance someone less ugly than you might have by dragging them into your hole.
Frankly, in reality you are most likely average/ a bit below average at worst. If you are running around outside dripping with as much self hatred and bitterness as in this thread people would be repulsed if you were the 10/10iest Chad to every walk the earth.

L thread. Stay a loser then.
>>
>>33724944
Most of you don't try anything or at the very least for very long. You just spend your life resenting it. You could be spending your time cultivating something, to pursue some sense of greatness, but instead you hate those that do. Like be honest anon, you care not for lifting weights at all or a great physique. You're a shallow outcome enjoyer not a virtue cultivator. Also it's crazy that most of you think you're on some moral equality high ground then turn around and hate equality. On top of which you also tend to be equally shallow about appearances when the time comes. Like what is this bullshit? Truth is you hate life which is not necessarily about the outcomes but about the very act of living. Growing, cultivating, overcoming, and creating.

If you don’t have enough neurons to understand a text, sorry, don’t even try. Think about it: I won’t waste my time explaining. You’re scared of reality, but it’s also liberating because you don’t need to be good, you never truly will be if you don’t have any talen
