Any advice for a perfectionist? It's ruining my life and I feel like I have OCD.
>>
Few things that helped me:
Realize you are not your task. Your output is not you. You may be capable of perfection and you know it - but this also means you are capable of producing the shittiest version possible. So give yourself the freedom to produce shit on purpose. Challenge yourself to do that within f.e. 10 minutes if you need the challenge.
Maybe start many things at once, switch things every 5-10 minutes.

You can approach it systematically. No shit, make a list of everything you are doing to the degree of perfection. Then sort that list into the things that matter absolutely 100%, the things that only sort of matter, the things that don’t matter, and the things that matter not at all but you still care about for some reason. Then adjust your energy accordingly.

Realize everything is perfectly imperfect. The world is exactly the way it should be, imperfections an all.
