Absolutely every option you can come up with suffers from at least one of two problems, and often both - either 1: it's unimaginably, agonisingly painful, or 2: there is a really quite high risk that it will leave you still alive but permanently brain-damaged. That means you're essentially guaranteed to survive, but with brain damage. (It's also worth noting nitrogen or helium asphyxiation is banned in many countries as a method for slaughtering animals because it is considered to cause too much suffering - make of that what you will). Carbon Monoxide also has a high risk of leaving you alive but brain damaged if either you miscalculate the dose or someone finds you too soon. And it's not an especially pleasant way to go, either: in the later stages you'll feel like you're suffocating.
