>I was at my local farmers market heading to my vegetable dealer
>to my surprise she wasn't there but her product was
>just as I was ready to leave to get my fix elsewhere, her stand neighbor informed me she was at the toilet.
>when she got back, the neighbor added "This boy wants to buy from you".

That got me thinking why boy and why not man? I was dressed in athleisure sure, but I'm a 30 something dude, tall with broad shoulders and a buzzcut. Some people call me boy some say mister and others say I'm a man. Even I am not sure how to call myself.

When do you become a man? Do you feel it? Do you have to accomplish something? being a father? having a wife? passing 30? killing your nemesis? being potty trained?
Also how would you call yourself? And why?

Country boys call each other boy all the time. It'd probably not that deep.
