I was in a relationship for 5yrs, broke up about a year ago and tried dating for the first time ever.I've dated 11 girls in 12 months, and while I started off with genuine intentions, I found that the more attractive ones would either complain about all the 'toxic guys' they'd dated (thus revealing their preferences), talk about previous sexual hookups as if they were some sort of achievement (???), or compare me to 'other guys' and act like it was rare for someone not to pump and dump them.In addition to all this, I got strung along and ditched a couple times, and after maybe 9 months of this bullshit I thought fuck it - I'm done. And guess what? It worked. It turns out that taking forever to reply, asking no questions, forcing them to initiate things and being selfish in bed is a good thing. Who knew?I'm pretty much cooked though. I don't want to be like this, but it feels like the vast majority of girls just don't want to (or can't) form a genuine connection because that's boring and not fun. Especially compared to sex with a 'toxic' guy, because the rare and unpredictable (i.e. more valuable) validation he gives just feels that much better.All of this is from my own direct experience. At this point I have pretty much no choice but to assume that love isn't real and women are retarded.I don't want to behave in this way, but it feels like the alternative to becoming a full-blown fuckboy is to a) be genuine and sift through shit, or b) give up and become pic related.How do I not let this cynicism ruin me?

That being said, as a man, you're the one who is supposed to make your intentions clear and stick to your guns. You either tell a woman what you want or make her do what you want--women generally do what you tell them. Sleep around if you want, but if you're 27ish~ start looking for a woman who would hypothetically stay by your side if you were in the hospital. You should be able to tell by now who is a dumb whore and who you can make into a wife. Also, marry someone who shares you religion and spirituality, marry someone who wants the same things out of life as, marry someone intelligent, marry someone who isn't a whore, marry someone who does what you say.
