Been obese my entire life, literally do not remember being skinny at any point. Can anybody whos been in a same situation give me any advice/tips on losing weight?
eat less, move moretheres literally nothing else too it
I'm fatty, not obese, but the following will probably help. Don't buy or eat any processed foods. Only eat things you cook. Eat at the same time everyday and have low cal snacks like strawberries. Try to make half or 1/3 of your plate non starchy veggies for every meal. Go on the treadmill or elliptical every day for an hour while watching tv/youtube/listening to music. It's super easy to lose fat if you're obese. If you experience pain take it slower or stop.
>>33735581Can you do cardio a little every day? You can even watch stuff on YouTube or Netflix while in a stationary bike.Lifting weights also helps a lot
>>33735581I was 410 lbs a year and a half ago and I'm 196 right nowYou kinda just have to reach your "ah shit this is actually gonna kill me" moment to get startedIf you're like 250 lbs that might be harder But for me it was getting a prediabetes diagnosisThen I just started walking every day and cut out all liquid calories and fast food and junk food. Lost 30 lbs in 2 months and then started counting calories and lifting weights and doing real cardio from there You just have to start, progress is easy to make when you're big and then the progress becomes the motivation
>>33736128Insane progress
>>33735581Unironically keto, or at least reduce carbs under some limit like 100g. Eat mostly meat and green veggies and paleo foods. To reduce appetite when you have cravings ingest a teaspoon of pure ginger powder in water.Find exercise you like. I was partial to Dance Dance Revolution or going on long bike rides, these days Beat Saber.
>>33736128how tall are you.Im an anon who is (sadly) fatter than you and I want to make progress like you. I am curious to see how much better people treat you
>>337363125'9So still fat technically, 175 goal weight but it's slower nowThere is definitely a differenceBiggest example is when I started hiking at 260 lbsFirst time I went out I said hi to everyone I passed and got almost no greetings back, next time I was 230 on the same trail and it was about 50-50, next time it was under 200 and literally everyone greeted back and was friendly It really makes a difference. You see it in service industry people too, like they're all bright and friendly with you when it was rare beforeI unlocked real human modeI was a creature before and didn't realize it
>>33736326>I unlocked real human mode>I was a creature before and didn't realize itSee that statement makes me super optimistic, but also a little sad (overall happy though). I get being fat is bad but no one should be treated as subhuman for it.
>>33736326Do you have any loose skin?
>>33736347Yeah there's no way to be that big and not have itIt's way better than still being that fatYou're never gonna look ideal but you'll look better plus in clothes you can't really tell
>>33736353/10 how bad is it in your opinion. This photo being 10 (worse case scenario)
>>33735581Ozempic. I got on it and lost 70 lbs down to 10% bf with out even trying. Like I literally wasn't putting any effort in or thinking about it.
>>33736391Idk maybe 4
>>33736417Well shit thats optimistic. Do you lift to build muscle to "fill it in"?
semaglutide. that's the answer. anything else is silly. they invented the cure. looking into anything else is like getting shot and refusing morphine, or not taking vyvanse for ADD, strictly inferior solutions. I'm not saying big pharma always comes up with the right answer, but when they do, they do
>>33736417also side question how were the dick gains? were they real?
>>33736449Real as fuck Used to bonepress measure just at 5", now it's 6.75"I think half is because of the giant fupa shrinking and the other half is improved cardio health improving boner strengthI didn't realize I was only at like 75% power until I regained full capability >>33736428Yeah but it's never gonna take up all the space, you can't gain enough muscle to fill in 200 lbs of lost fat even if you roid Regardless I've had women into me for my muscles now which is brand fucking new and they're more understanding to the loose skin than you'd thinkI'm still insecure about it though but it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be over a hamplanet body
>>33736454Nah I get that. I'll probably never be a sculpted greek god but I would like to have a physique I'm somewhat proud of.
>>33736394You have to take it for the rest of your life?
>>33735581Keto diet and lots of aerobic exercise.
>>33735581Intermittent fasting. Work a job where you’re constantly lifting/walking. If you can’t do that then just walk as much as possible and lift a few days a week. When I worked at Walmart as a stock person I’d eat a quarter pounder, side salad, and drink a shit ton of water on my lunch break. Lost 40 pounds and recomp’d my body. But, prioritize nutrition over everything. Don’t drink sugar/creams, don’t even substitute it. Black coffee, tea, water, whatever tickles your non-flavored, non-caloric fancy. Don’t buy snacks, stick to full meals, the exception being maybe an apple in-between meals to hold you off. The first month is excruciating because your body will be trying to adjust to the changes. It’s worth it.
>>33735581Weigh everything to count calories. We need solid numbers on shit like this. Everyone has their own bullshit logic, that simply makes them fail. "Ohh I just walked 2 km, guess that icecream cake isn't too bad now". It's simplified my example, but trust me, it is way too real. Get those numbers so that there is no excuse. Eat less than you burn. As >>33735706 says, there isn't much more to it.
>>33735581I'm losing weight currently with no exercise just from cutting out any bread or noodle products (including breading on chicken etc) and sugary drinks and alcohol. Cut any major carb sources even fruit and vegetables. Just eat better and less.
