How do you find semi decent roomates? Don’t need to be best friends with them but cool enough to have a few drinks with or at least who will leave me alone in a room to myself

Feels totally random, I have 3 roomates (2 guys, 1 girl) I didn't meet any of them before renting, just random ass people from facebook marketplace. They're all pretty nice / considerate / clean

Honestly I feel I got lucky, try to vet as much as possible or avoid roommates

You don’t. It’s always awkward and having to second-guess every interaction is exhausting. I have so many bad stories of absolute psychopaths that I was forced to live with.

The real question you should be asking is how much do you need to work to live alone?
