I assume that when they are smiling and engaging in conversation the whole time and then tell me afterward they had a good time that it means they had a good time. Obviously I should have been reading their nonexistent signals that are undetectable to me despite them being the only thing I'm focusing on for several hours at a time. I must be bad at communication :^)
