What are some things you actually enjoy doing. And what would you want in your life that you don't have currently?
>>

>What are some things you actually enjoy doing.
I enjoy drinking and playing video games but acknowledge they're low-tier brain occupation activities
>And what would you want in your life that you don't have currently?
Job I applied for. Own place. Girlfriend. That's it, really.

What kinda job?
>wasted my 20s pursuing useless, low-prestige degrees from a commuter college and made zero social connections
I don’t think most degrees are low-prestige, man. You still made an effort and committed. Signing up for college and just the whole headache that it is is impressive enough. Did you end up with any degrees? And which ones if so?
>horrible first 2-3 sexual experiences and the prospect just terrifies me now
Lmao I hear you

To be honest with you, I’m at the same spot. I’m actually living in a reality between living and dead, it’s very strange. I just have no attachment to life anymore. Feel like I’ve seen it all, lived it all. Life has already raped me rotten to death, AND I’m a decade younger than you. You sound pretty damn successful to me man.

What have you gone through that makes you believe this

More than you can imagine. I’m sure you don’t believe me or think I’m lying though

You are depressed, but maybe not clinically depressed. It means you can probably pull yourself out of it without the help of professionals and antidepressants.
Start going to the gym, build an exercise routine. Don't even need to focus on getting muscles.
Start learning a profession. Something that can give you meaningful labor. On your own terms.
Your situation is totally fixable, but you are the only one who can do it.
>>
>>33760204
You plagiarized my life
Get your own depressing backstory

Arguing with furries on discord is not "living between life and death"
>>
>>33760269
>What kinda job?
Private genealogical research company but I'm only a contractor and don't get benefits. I'm also too pussy to ask for a raise. It doesn't feel like a career position even if the money's solid for the kind of work.
>>
>>33760204
wow this is me in like 5 years
>>
>>33760204
Keep that fucking job. Your parents are going to die soon. Very soon. Probably within the next couple of years if they and you are lucky. Mine died very suddenly and my entire life changed in one night. Take my fucking advice or suffer the consequences.
>>
>>33760204
take the don't care pill
just go do stuff (that doesn't harm your body)
also stop drinking lol it's really not good for you are on path to becoming an alcoholic
the hardest war you will ever fight is in your head
you got it anon

picrel will be you one day. now you just have to start your day one

Yup, there it is. Making assumptions and projecting the fact that you haven’t been through shit. Just like clockwork with you insecure wrecks.
>>33762623
>Private genealogical research company
The hell even is that? Maybe you can find other work with benefits and better pay with your degrees. Did you do the dual degree thing in college?
>>
>>33760204
Lets start off with one thing
>live at home with elderly parents
who the fuck cares? its 2025, the housing market is fucked to high hell (both rental and non), the economy is in shambles so even if there WERE available housing it wouldn't be something you could afford on your own. You're single and living with your parents, thats just economical. Fuck off anyone who tells you otherwise. They're fuckwits.
>job was practically handed to me and I don't feel like I earned it
how long have you had it? have you been let go? no? Then you earned it. Unless major nepotism, an employer isn't going to hold onto a worthless employee.
>wasted my 20s pursuing useless, low-prestige degrees from a commuter college and made zero social connections
I'll one up you. I wasted my 20s playing garry's mod and neglecting several college courses. I'm just lucky as fuck that something erased my debts from those courses - there's literally no record now of me owing money to this college but still.
>horrible first 2-3 sexual experiences and the prospect just terrifies me now
2-3 more than I have had. How horrible could they possibly be? Like did you pull it out and she laughed or like you came in 10 seconds and she finished with the dildo?
>don't even bother approaching women despite drinking alone at a bar at least once a week
This is a depression issue. You aren't solving this overnight. And I don't have a solution for you either, because frankly if i had one i'd probably not be on this site. All I can say is "fuck that noise" and suggest you just force your way through it.
>can't get an interview for what few jobs I apply for
Again, not your fault. Job market is oversaturated in 2025, plus too much AI applicants vs AI resume filtering. Its a losing battle. Don't blame yourself for that.
>>
>>33764199
Not OP, but you have very sound advice. Do you shun NEETs that can’t get a job/into college easily, which is out of their control? Or do you sympathize with them or even recommend it atp?
>>
>>33764209
My brother happens to be a shut in NEET that can't get a job or into college on account of his neuropathy. For some people who simply cannot work or study like him, I understand.

For people who have given up because they've spent years trying and failing to get into a job or college - there's one last path they can try and i wouldn't fault them for not attempting it: start your own business.

Really, most of the time you aren't getting a job because an AI is seeing you dont have X Y Z skills or qualifications or certificates. I got my current job despite no experience or qualifications because I found a company that was willing to give me a chance and my own hobbyist experience plus my adaptability spoke for itself.

Not a lot of things are truly out of your control. You may not be able to get into college, but you can still study a field of interest as much as you like. You can learn a trade, you can make a video game, create art, write stories, etc. Some of these things you can turn into revenue streams without a traditional job or degree. You just need to be creative into finding a way to monetize your skills, talents, or creative drive.
>>
>>33764105
If you actually went through shit, you wouldn't be using your experiences as a measuring stick to prove how hard you had it. You should teach and lead others to be better, not bragging on 4chan
>>
>>33764264
Very true. Thanks man. What kinda field are you in?
>>33764707
By saying I feel like I’ve seen it all and lived it all? Who gives a fuck? You’re reading into it and have no self control. Lmao thinking I’m bragging when you’re the one who brought it up and asked me. Stop replying to me.
>>
>>33764707
Oh and by the way
>You should teach and lead others to be better
Is exactly what I fucking did in my post. Too bad you’re a dyslexic retard.
>>
>>33764105
>The hell even is that?
I research people's families for money. I pull archival records from local and federal sources to put together historical narratives and then write an interpretive timeline. The subject matter is a bit more specific but the field is so small I might end up doxxing myself, so I'll leave it at that.
>inb4 "isn't that what the degrees were for?"
Nope, but it is in the humanities field, I guess.
>>
>>33760227
I enjoy masturbation and want to transition but my parents are very transphobic
>>
>>33765295
>my parents are very transphobic
I wonder what 2009 4chan would think about people like you infesting this website back when the world didn't go crazy with LGBT+ gender and queer ideology, normalizing Darwin awards and sodomite perversion.
>>
>>33760249
Permanent long term economic decline.
What you're asking for was daily life for most boomers but that lifestyle was outsourced decades ago, you'd be better off daydreaming about winning the lottery.
You could hope for a nice loft with a roommate and maybe meet a single mom with a couple kids when you're 40 as a high goal for the mid 2020s.
It ain't the 1950s anymore and remember who to blame at election time.

>I have an interesting job with a very specific skill that I can live off of
>but I'm miserable because I didn't apply for it
clearly you've proved to whoever you work for that you're good enough at your job for them to keep you around. I don't want to sound like the "the west has fallen" type doomposting but you kinda hit the lottery being able to make something that specific work for you. I think the real problem is how you feel about your life, or more specifically, your past.
You gotta learn to live with yourself.
>>
>>33766387
>who to blame at election time.
Both sides?
>>
>>33766387
this. nobody has a fulfilling life in 2025 except for the economic elites and rich pensioners.

however voting for le other party isn't going to fix shit since it's the fucking jews doing it.
