I am from the USA. I'm wanting to move to either the Czech Republic or Thailand primarily due to better cost of living in those countries. However, I have no love for Thai culture or language whatsoever and would only be an economic refugee. I would rather live in the Czech Republic but I don't know how feasible moving there is. Does anybody have any experience with either of these countries? How easy is it to relocate there? What are the pros and cons of both? Thank you.

They have your typical broken Engrish asian stereotype. You'll have a hard time understanding the natives who are barely educated. If you ever do you'll have to befriend a well educated native through out your lifetime.I do have Thai friends but their English pronunciation are so so barely understandable. There's a Thai VTuber I met and her English is really American standard you couldn't tell she's Asian by the way she speak. When I visited Thailand with my parents my dad had connections with work so it was an okay experience for us but without guidance from a fluent English speaker? You're screwed.100% go for Czech. If you're a Westerner, go refuge to a western country. Thailand should be your last resort option like Czech gets invaded or something.
I'm a Czech and I must say that I find it curious how often I see Czechia and Thailand together in posts like this. Would really like to find out what's the reason behind that.Anyway, Czechia is a beautiful country with great healhcare and low property taxes (although income taxes are somewhat higher). We just had an elections though and it's quite noticable, how many people, especially in the peripheries are not opened towards globalism and won't really greet you with open arms at first and you'll have to work your way inside the community. This problem will be small to nonexistant in Prague and maybe some other large cities.
